Placed order at 5pm through Yelp (apparently goes through Grubhub). Get there at 5.40 which is when pickup was scheduled. They have my order but haven't started cooking it. Apparently there is a new owner and the grubhub account has not been transferred yet. They receive the order but they don't receive money. I told them it's ok, we will sort this out - pls start cooking food as I have 3 kids at home waiting. I said that I'll pay for it again if need and reassured them that we will sort out refund (I live close by). Nope - refused. Wouldn't do it until after they managed to get hold of Grubhub customer service and dealt with that. Bottom line: I left restaurant at 6.50pm, over an hour after I got there to pick up food. What I am annoyed about is the fact they could have cancelled my order right away once they received instead of waiting for me to go there. Food is ok but man, this experience sucked

Had the braised beef soup - saltiest meal I've ever had. It was inedible, and I'm a salt fan when it comes to food. There was a very good underlying flavor, but the salt was absolutely overwhelming

Was pretty good! A little oily, but overall flavor and quality of food was pretty good. Hit that late night craving if you want better quality than Panda Express

We went last night for the first time and were very impressed with the service and the food :) Meat in our beef ramen was a bit fatty, but otherwise it was very tasty! We will be back.

Ambiance is ok. The food is below average. They use too much MSG and the food is too greasy. We confirmed with the waiter about them using MSG.

Giving 3 stars only because the noodles themselves were good and cooked al dente. I ordered bok choy on the side and the portion was generous and it was cooked perfectly. The bad: The eggplant with shredded pork was not good. The eggplant was mush, and the shredded pork was way too finely shredded. A toddler could eat it safely. Worst of all was how oily the dish was, and the oil didn't taste good. Oily Chinese food seems to be a theme in this area. I'm sure they have some good dishes, but this was not one of them. I'm sad - the picture looked really good.

I've been here several times. The food is very good. I personally like the braised pork rice bowl, The stir fry noodle with beef, and the minced beef pancake. Just make sure to choose your spiciness one ordering. I've only gotten take out so I don't know how these service inside is, but I have always dealt with the same guy at the counter and he's always been friendly. I highly recommend.

kindness. Moved to Irvine from the San Gabriel area. In comparison, the food here is delicious and the price is very reasonable. It feels cheap and the food tastes delicious. Of course, it may be that I am too hungry. Overall, I am very satisfied with this meal. Good reviews. Will come again.

very good food, highly recommend their meat pies and chives pies/pancakes. i might like those flour appetizers more then their noodles! However, don't sign up for ChowBus! they sold my personal information and now i'm getting scam texts from random chinos ever since i used the ChowBus app.

To go review only and first time here. Ordered in person, their popular Braised Beef Noodle soup. Had a separate soup container and a noodles bowl, were easy to mix the two together. The beef cubes were tender and noodles are cooked well- not too hard or soft. I asked for spicy level 1, which was just right with slight spiciness. You could also order it non-spicy as well. The soup could have been more flavourful and hotter temp though. Took about 5 minutes to get it as promised in the early afternoon hour, no one was dining inside, but the restaurant seems to be clean and they have different delivery options and takeout order machine if they are busy. There are outside general tables in the plaza you can eat at, but they don't serve outside.

We ordered an appetizer, and two meals. The appetizer was very good. The braised beef soup was good. The noodles With Diced Beef was terrible and over-salted to the extreme. I did not complain, nonetheless, here is a report. If an older person had what I ordered (noodles With Diced Beef), they would sure have very dangerous levels of blood pressure leading to a possible heart attack.

Brought my friends here for lunch. We ordered wonton, green onion cake and beef pancake, and beef noodles. Everything was delicious and flavorful. I am a regular. Always happy eating here.

The atmosphere was weird as I walked in no one greeted me and felt like no one was here to help. The food was only and the meat was chewy not coming back.

Excellent braised beef noodle. beef cubes are tender. Noodle are cooked just right. I always order with scallion pancakes and cucumber in garlic sauce to go with the meal. Friendly and attentive staffs a big plus. Speedy services perfect for a quick lunch. Clean, casual atmosphere makes a very relaxing mood.

Got the wonton chicken soup to go and was happily surprised. Portion was good (best guess is around 10-12 wontons) and broth was very flavorful. Loved the texture of the noodle wrappers and I love wontons that have a good proportion of meat to noodle (I like more noodle than meat)! It's one of the best ones I've found (besides home cooked) and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!!
