Great food, always enjoy coming here. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is the one! Our favorite dish: Beijing duck, sizzling bbq lamb, Beijing style meat pie, leak cake, sweet sour fried fish... Actually all dishes are good!!!

Although they don't have the best roast duck in town. Sometimes you can manage to score one without calling ahead. The leek cakes here are particularly good. I usually place two orders of leek cakes so I can enjoy one order by myself.

Great experience! Very authentic Beijing food! Great duck, duck soup, and noodles! Good service! Would definitely recommend!

Our take out moo shoo pork was missing the plum sauce and crepe. After talking to four different people on the phone I was told the dish doesn't include these.

Revisit: Yes, already did. It is one of the good restaurants around Irvine that has decent Chinese food. We got the Peking duck, it is a nice one, and it is truly the Peking style. You need to do a reservation for it for sure. The Peking duck came last, so save some stomach for it, don't eat too much lol. The price is fairly good for all of the dishes. It is good for any party size too. The environment is pretty good too.

I went there last night, it was not as good as used to be. The food includes duck are cooler and tasteless.

Way too much MSG!!! Four of us went for lunch and all of us felt very thirsty soon after. And my face went very red and hot that night before going to bed and got a little swollen the next morning. (Skipped dinner, this was my last meal that day)

The woman in the front desk gives customers bad attitude. Simply a elimination of appetite.

I like this place although I saw a bunch of low star comments. I have been to this place several times and tried different dishes and I like them all. Very tasty and authentic. If I have to find some objections I'll say the price is a little on the high side but I still can't forget this place I have to go every now and then.
I just love this place , I have had great experience and from the beginning to the end of the meal , everything was amazing…. My new favorite place ♥️♥️

We where here a birthday celebration last night. We pre-ordered the duck. It had bones in it and was unappetizing. We ordered several other mediocre dishes. I would not recommend.

I ordered a plate of abalone for $149.99. Then I had a plate of mushrooms.“Best” restaurant in Irvine. Lmao…….

Went there five months ago, all the dishes were super salty. It seems the meat was not fresh and chef was trying to cover it. But they're are not so many Beijing style restaurants in the area. So we decided to give it a second chance. The hours on their website says it opens until 3:00 pm for lunch. We arrived at 1:15 pm. The restaurant was about two third empty when we get there and nobody was waiting. To our surprise, the woman at the reception desk told us there's no table available now. So I asked can we wait? She said, we just have no table available. Will never go back again

Food was terrible. Peking duck was extremely dry and tasteless. The deep fried fish with sweet and sour sauce had an after taste. It tasted muddy. The worst was the sesame pancake. It came out burnt and yucky. Thank goodness they refunded it. Anyway, won't be coming back. Meizhou Dongpo is far better. Actually, would have put no star.
