One was burned too much. So, she had to give up enjoying her dinner. Some staffs look Korean and I think other countries people will not claim about it because of bad communication. I hope all consumers are not deceived with burn foods.

I used to love this place.... My go to is the stone bowl bibimpop. Sadly the last 2 times, it's been the worst I've ever had. The whole point of paying for the stone bowl is for it to be hot so it cooks the egg and makes the rice a bit crunchy. It's now basically soggy mushy rice w meat and veggies. The egg doesn't even cook bc it's not hot enough. I even told the guy at the register and he just said it was bc they're busy and just rushing to get the food out. I told him I wouldn't be coming back bc it's not what i expect to get. I don't recommend this place any more.

This place is similar to BCD Tofu House. We ordered a bulgogi and spicy tofu noodle soup combo which was served with rice, egg, ban chan sides, and fried fish. The price was 29.99, and this could serve 2 people-although I would order an extra rice dish at least if you are hungry. The bulgogi was ok, not the best and the tofu soup was good but could use more flavor. I didn't care for the fish. Overall, it was just decent, but I would not be in a rush to return. I much rather go to BCD Tofu house, but this was convenient if you want food while grocery shopping. I may try some of the other spots in the food court here instead next time.

I wish I could give this more stars. Their other location in Cypress is one of my favorite places, and I'm so sad that I can't rate this any higher than a 3. The taste is a 4, the service is a 2. But the hot stone bibimbap was NOT EVEN HOT ENOUGH to crisp the rice, even though they forgot my order and let it cook for a long long while. I've had this many times and never had crispy rice. That stone seems to be just for show. Service was not good, but I cant expect anything more from a food court. So many people walked past my table and were like "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT" and was excited about the Hot Stone. And so was I! Normally id be like 'CHO DANG AND THAT PLACE IS AMAZING, YOU HAVE TO GET THIS' but i simply pointed toward cho dang with as little enthusiasm as possible. Note: If you forget to make my order, you need to NOT continue making the 3 orders that were placed AFTER me. You need to stop prepping those, go back and prioritize my order before theirs. They made me wait an 25 extra minutes during a lunch break.

The hot stone bibimbap was good. Service was very friendly. The meal came out quickly, especially compared to the surrounding restaurants.

Very good heat to the medium Kimchi Soft Tofu we ordered from here. -Portion size was good.-Banchan is unlimited. -Spicy. To our liking.-Value on the portion.

Been here 2x now. The lady at the front is so kind and patient and will recommend something to you if you can't choose. There was also a gentleman who kindly brought out some salt for my chicken (ginseng chicken soup) and was very sweet.Good portions and a tiny bit pricy but worth it tbh the quality is lovely and they give that mom and pop shop feel you might get in a stand alone restaurant

I love Cho Dang for their tofu soup and marinated beef short ribs combo, but I think I just found a new favorite combo to order! The fresh and vibrant spicy buckwheat cold noodles pairs perfectly with the salty and fatty short ribs. I love all the sides it comes with too! There is a Korean lady who works at the counter and is very nice! She was gracious enough to let myself and two other parties order "for here" when the eatery was about to close; all of the other food stalls turned us away or only did to-go orders. I love my experience ordering from here because of her! The market eatery at H-Mart is brightly lit, and busy depending on what time you go. Overall, it's a classic food court ambiance but with the best foods.

I recently visited Cho Dang Tofu House in the Hmart food court and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and friendly service. I ordered the spicy cold noodles and they were absolutely amazing - flavorful, spicy, and satisfying. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce had the perfect balance of flavors. The staff member who took my order was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. I appreciate that this restaurant is located in the Hmart food court, making it a convenient spot to grab a quick bite while shopping.Overall, I highly recommend Cho Dang Tofu House for anyone looking for delicious Korean cuisine in the Irvine area. The friendly service and flavorful dishes make this a standout option in the food court. Don't miss out on the spicy cold noodles - they are a must-try!Time: 12pm on a Sunday Service: 5/5Ambiance: 4/5Price: $$Food: 5/5

Ordered the seafood pancake and it was just okay. Nothing memorable about it. I will order something different next time, I know they're really popular. Service was good.

Okay YES a lot of places offer Tofu and no I didn't order Tofu soup, BUT THE LADY TAKING ORDERS WAS THE SWEETEST AND KINDEST PERSON I'VE EVER MET AND SHE MADE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WORTH IT She made sure to cut my cold noodles for me and took extra care to give me extra vinegar and mustard to my liking. Honestly this is one of my fave spots to get cold noodles because of this lady Parking: free parking lot Seating: indoor tables no assignment so grab quick Wifi: no and bad cell service Payment: card and tap to pay (accepts Amex)Vibe: casual Korean food courtDress code: casual

I am very impressed by the food here. I had low expectations as this place is inside the Hmart food court but the food quality is similar to a really good Korean restaurant. I love their pork soft tofu soup and it comes with enough banchan to have a very filling meal. The fried fish is really good! The price point is amazing for the quality and the owner is very sweet! Highly recommend!
