Arrived here for breakfast, I ordered Avocado toast. The dish they brought me was exactly as I wanted and was very fresh and dairy free. Awesome customer service and great food!

Located in the hotel this restaurant is wonderful for BRUNCH! We had their all you can drink mimosas. After ordering they give everyone a slice of their moist banana bread in the house. I highly recommend you get 1. The Chicken and waffles 10/10: HUGE portion, large pieces of moist crunchy non-soggy non-oily fried chicken on a large home style waffle. What puts it over the top is their rosemary maple syrup and butter. I didn't like the eggs Benedict as much. I'll be back for some chicken and waffles, better than roscoes in my opinion

Get their Okinawa Latte, I'm still thinking about it. Huge portion and relaxing ambience. I went on a weekday, the line was long but manageable.

Went for Father's Day weekend and the food was amazing and so was the service. They have a large selection of Spanish wines to choose from. I Want to go back to try there weekend brunch! I Will definitely be going back for some more yummy Tapas!

Review is based on many visits (a girlfriend worked in the building across the street), but every visit happened before 6pm....At the end of the day, even at a lifestyle hotel, EATS is a hotel bar. Meaning it's a little overpriced, and at least in the afternoon or evening, it's mostly business travelers. The service is always good, the beer list is decent, and the food is slightly above average. Again, it's a hotel bar and not a place I would have frequented so often if I wasn't working and waiting for a girlfriend.

I came to EATS Kitchen & Bar at 7:45pm and it was closed even though the closing time is 9pm. They said they closed early because no more people was coming to the restaurant. THAT IS NOT A REASON!

A friend of mine was passing through OC with a layover at John Wayne and he had several hours to kill; we met at this place (which is in the Hotel Irvine and very close to the airport) to catch up and share some beers and starters.I've never eaten a full meal here before, but the appetizers he and I shared that day were wonderful, and the ice cold beer made them taste even better :-)Despite how crowded the place was, the service was excellent throughout our time there, and the noise level never got so bad that we couldn't hear each other. The prices were reasonable for the location and quality - I wouldn't hesitate to return!

I'm a huge fan of bottomless mimosas so I immediately came here upon finding their Yelp check-in deal for free access to their mimosa bar! My friends and I had so much fun creating different mimosa flavors! They have a great selection of juices and fruits. However, the food wasn't anything special. I ordered the EATS Benedict and Orange Blossom French Toast. Both were okay, but the mimosas definitely stole the show. They also gave us some yummy complimentary banana bread!

We like a lot to go out. Yesterday we arrived in this magnificent place which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful time there with excellent dishes and a professional stuff and a great chief cook. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we will certainly go again soon. We warmly recommend.

This place is worth a try. They have large portions for fair rates. Always neat and with excellent mood. Will visit here again.

Monday Company Dinner -Making a reservation was very easy but plenty of seating -One flaw was the awful smell... it smelled like rotten fish for some odd reason in our area. That was NOT good -$7 signature cocktails were great (5pm-7pm) Happy Hour I got the Filet Mignon $42 but the portion was very smell. Cooked great though at Medium.

EATS sits on the ground floor of the Hotel Irvine, and there is a valet, that validates you for up to 2 hours if you bring the valet ticket into the restaurant. We went for Brunch on a Sunday. First observation: Every time I went back up to the bar for a champagne refill (they have a MIMOSA BAR, which I'll get to in a minute), the bartender or server who was back there was fantastic. Friendly, smiling, fun, and exactly the kind of person you want to sit at a bar with. The other staff also created a great vibe here, from servers to bussers to hosts and hostesses - the staff all seems super happy, which in turn made all the customers happy. Well that and challah bread french toast. And bottomless mimosas. So, the bottomless mimosas ($15, standard for the OC) are yours to create. You go to the bar for the refills, and then you have this little table of goodies. Fruits to plunk, juices to splash, and syrups to experiment with. The photos behind the bottles tell what's in them, and I just found this to be so cute and unique. They have a cocktail menu as well, so we also tried the Blackberry Mule which was absolutely delicious (infused vodka instead of a juice - my favorite!) They first bring you some seriously moist and delicious banana bread - dusted with a little powdered sugar. It is fantastic but I will warn you that the portion size at this restaurant is one of the largest I've seen in Orange County - so you may regret eating the bread later on! EATS serves breakfast every single day, so most of the Brunch Menu is available whenever you want it. But the things we ordered were strictly Weekend Brunch specials. CHICKEN AND WAFFLES: The chicken on this dish is FAB-U-LOUS. The breading has spices in it that I couldn't even pinpoint - not spicy spices, just flavorful ones. The syrup has rosemary in it, and is so unique and tasty - I've never had a chicken and waffles dish with this flavor combo before, and it was a delightful surprise. The chicken was also perfectly cooked. ORANGE BLOSSOM FRENCH TOAST: I don't believe it's correctly named. There is very little orange but SO MUCH OTHER FLAVOR. It's made with 2 inch thick challah bread, and a giant dollop of MASCARPONE CHEESE, which eventually melts all over the hot bread like a creamy white butter. It's loaded up with fresh strawberries and poached rhubarb (Strange flex? Maybe, but it adds depth), and also topped with a generous heap of chopped pistachios (my favorite part, adding crunch and nuttiness to this 2 inch thick Monster Bread!) It needed no syrup, the bread itself was FULL of flavor and so soft and chewy inside. It's extremely dense, so I will tell you that I made it through ONE of the 3 slices of this, so you may need a to-go box. And I need to add that I brought the other two home to my 12 year old, and after 5 minutes in the toaster oven it was nearly as good as it was right out of EATS' kitchen. Very solid brunch, very good service. Highly recommend and we will return soon.

My husband and I ate here for breakfast when we stayed at Hotel Irvine and were pleasantly surprised by the food. We don't usually think of great food when we think of a hotel restaurant but the avocado toast with poached egg was delicious. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict which wasn't as amazing but still good. The servers were very attentive and friendly. We would definitely eat here again when we are in Irvine.
