A friend and I made plans for lunch, and he wanted to share this find, Sol Mexican Cocina. He knows I like Mexican food, and he's been here several times. There is covered parking, and they will validate your ticket.The menu has all the standards plus some yummy-sounding combos. For a starter, they bring tostadas, salsa, and a water carafe. If you ask, there is a hotter salsa.I decided on a Mexican restaurant classic, CARNE ASADA STREET TACOS:(3) grilled with garlic, pico de gallo, avocado sauce, cilantro & onions. If a restaurant can't do carne asada well, I won't return.They are served with a side of beans & rice. I chose the borracho black beans and red rice. You can also select quinoa salad or spicy slaw. My compliments to the chef: everything was delicious!My friend had the Mushroom & Poblanos Quesadillas, so they have a good selection of vegetarian options. Bring all your friends, there is something for everyone.The service is excellent; they are very attentive and welcoming. The décor is simple and elegant. Take your time to look at all the Soles (suns) on the wall. The chairs are comfortable and perfect for chatting; tip your server well if you are going to hang around.I'll be back to try other items on the menu, like the Chile Relleno, a Torta, or one of the Specialty Tacos. Maybe I'll see you there!

Worst customer service the host not the server I asked them if i can seat somewhere else told me know everything is reserved 10 min go by i see no body sitting on them asked again was told no again the whole time i was there no body sat there asked them to have no onions on taco came with onions asked to remove them brought chicken only really felt uncomfortable would never recommend it

VERY disappointed and on top of it $20 per taco with a 1/4 cup of black beans and 1/4 cup of rice (which neither had any flavor, btw NO salt nor pepper nor anything but a fake candle on the table)...a food truck or stand is way better....even a chain like El Torito has better tacos. I would give the food a negative star if I could, believe me! Their ONLY saving grace are their servers and atmosphere. Even the table next to us called a manager and asked for a credit, we should have too.....so disappointed ???

Can't go wrong with happy hour or taco Tuesday. Black bean sweet potato tacos are delish. My meat eating pals love thru vampire taco. Street corn is the bomb. Margaritas too!
