Curly chewy noodles are great. The broth is just right and not too salty/oily. Pork is decent.

I had high expectations before coming here. Ramen looks so good and Kiakata is a bit salty but delicious. The broth has no umami. Noodle was like between udon and ramen. You will know what I am talking about when you eat this Broth needs to be cooked longer to extract more umami from pork bone.

Friendly service and good food.

The broth on the Miso Ramen was watered down and missing quality taste. I ask them to fix it and it was the same thing.

Yummy ramen place. Since the place we initially wanted to go to had 1+ hour wait we came across this ramen place. So glad we ate here - staff was very accommodating with our two little ones. They have super cute kid bowls and plates. My daughter’s favorite color is blue and they even switched her bowl and plate to the blue one.My daughter has an egg allergy - the noodles do not have egg. Miso ramen was yummy but it does have a little kick to it especially near the end. Definitely recommend adding sides for more veggies. Boiled cabbage was good addition, same as tofu. Our girls loved the fried chicken (no eggs in batter). Would definitely come back!

This place has the best spicy miso ramen and I eat it once, or twice every month! This was also a nice spot for a date I went on with a girl friend (two words) of mine.

I have never had such awful service. I had a digital gift card that I was trying to use to pay for my food. They proceeded to tell me on the phone and in person that they cancelled gift cards. I explained that they can’t just do that when it’s our money they are stealing. I waited for 20 minutes while he tried to figure out how to use a gift card. He then proceeded to tell me I had to pay with a different form of payment. So essentially they wouldn’t honor the gift card ever. This is theft. Absolutely not. The guy made me feel like I was the one attacking him when he finally said ok take the meal. And I said yep, I will. That should have been done at the beginning when you didn’t know how to process a Kitikata gift card. I even had an email stating the money left on the gift card. I’m so disappointed and have never been treated like that ever. My husband and I used to dine there EVERY week and since the pandemic and more locations opened, the quality and the service is a disappointment and disaster every time. I’ve had countless to go meals messed up over and over. That’s the end of our Kitikata era.

Stable taste. The noodles are delicious with thick, curly noodles.I love menma (pickled bamboo shoots), so it is an essential topping. Miso ramen is delicious at this ramen restaurant.

The noddles are so good and the broths are so tasty! The prices are decent for such quality food, which I think the noodles are made fresh in house. The service is always good and fast!

Love the ramen here, my favorite ever is the spicy miso ramen. Portion size for a large is filling for two. Thank you to Mikayla for providing exceptional service. She is super kind and attentive!

I really like the ramen from here. The noodles have a great texture, the chasiu is perfectly tender, and the soups are flavorful. We ordered the regular size Green Chili Shio Ramen plus corn ($16.45 + $1.20). It's a clean but flavorful broth. I wish it was spicier, but it is still my go-to whenever we come here.We also tried the regular size Umakara Tan Tan Ramen ($17.95). The Tan Tan soup base is a sesame paste. The broth was a little sweet and spicy, which I liked. This was a huge portion, and I couldn't even finish more than half the bowl.I love the quaint and modern Japanese decor of this place. The servers were friendly. The place is small and gets busy, but they have a Yelp wait list, so definitely make your reservations ahead of time. My only gripe is the price. I know it's Irvine, but at almost $20 for a bowl of ramen, especially with tip, it's steep!

Love the green chili ramen! The broth is So flavorful but yes it is spicy. I always add the side of corn too! This is my favorite ramen spot for clear broth! (Love that it doesn't feel as "heavy") Service has always been attentive and friendly and welcoming! (even as a new mom!!)

I ordered the Tantan Ramen and my wife ordered the spicy miso Ramen. They were both very SALTY... it was horrible.... to make matters worse, fruit flies were flying around our table hovering our Ramen bowls... it was so annoying... the food is also overpriced. I do not recommend this place. Not a good value and didn't taste good. Very salty ramen....
