Delicious French onion soup and pastries! (eclairs, lemon pastries, etc.)

I wish I could give an accurate review of the food but I chose not to buy due to the off putting attitude of the girl at the counter. It was my first time there and I arrived just a couple of minutes before opening time at 7am. I tried the right door but it didn't open, so I figured I'd wait 5 minutes to give them time to set up. When I came back I again tried the right door and it was locked...since there were no other customers I initially thought I might've misread the opening time so stepped back to check the timecard and then looked at the girl all the way across the store behind the counter. She shouted 'IT'S OPEN!' and gestured to come in with an annoyed expression that came across as if she were saying 'what's your problem, dummy?' all without moving from her position at the back. I tried the left door and sure enough it was open. I came inside and went to the pastry display and almost immediately she asked brusquely 'what do you want today?' - all without moving from her position. I thought about it for a second and walked out - I don't need pastries so much that I have to deal with the uncultured attitudes of low rent people for the privilege to pay OC prices for them. Nice way to lose a potential new customer. My advice is, invest in people that have good customer service skills.

This is a lovely cafe with a chill vibe. I think food tasted good. Breakfast was not too flavorful. Bread was good. The dessert was a bit dry. It feels like humidity has been sucked out too much. Quick service. Plenty of parking. Overall, a good place to hangout or work from cafe.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Terrible service. We waited for twenty minutes and then learned they forgot to put in our order. When the food came out, they didn't deliver it to the table fast enough. We ate cold food. Never coming back. The food was overpriced for the terrible quality too.

You won’t get quality of foods and taste equal to the price you pay. Chocolate hazelnut croissant was hard as rock when the staff passed it to me.The worst part is customer service. I had couple of times experiences with very bad customer services.Won’t go never again ?

One of our favorite places for brunch. Go for the French toast, the quiche, the omelets, and more.

I've been wanting to try this place in the Bay Area but then the COVID-19 pandemic hit and never got a chance to try it. Now that I am in SoCal, it's good to see this location open. Looking through the reviews, it looks like the croissant toast, the house made granola, and the strawberry pistachio is recommend so we got that. And yes, all three were delicious! My husband never eats granola. We went back for more. Be sure to get the croissant toasted! We also got the L.B. Club and the Egg & Cheese Croissant sandwich. Those were good too.The potato chips depends if you like the herb flavors. I think it might be thyme or rosemary. I enjoyed it but may not be for everyone.

I absolutely love this place. My only grievance is that they do not use filtered water for their coffee, and for me, as a coffee drinker, I taste it. Other than that, *chef's kiss*

This review is only on behalf of their croissants and danish as well as one lavender latte. The croissants just look irresistible and the taste was pretty up there. Real butter and generous but appropriate amount of almond filling and the Nutella-- yum!! If croissants are made of anti-butter or butter that eats your fat I would smush these in my face all day! The latte was small but very flavorful and genuine barista who's knowledgeable enough with the coffee machines. I assume. I also like how their muffins are small-- not like Costco gigantic size as size doesn't matter. Regardless of what your grandmother says. Quality and use is what goes a long way.
