i loved this restaurant. The food was consistently good. And it was a nice local place to go for outdoor dining. I'm sorry it closed. I hope they open another location in Irvine soon.

My go to place for Mexican food. They're located in a very nice plaza with great outdoor eating options. The food is always fresh and flavorful. I usually get their bowls but their Tortas and Fajitas plates are excellent! Always great service too!

Delicious locally sourced produce, wild fish, good meats for yummy dishes. My favorite Latin eatery.

The menu says burritos and kids meals are served with chips. Today, we ordered three kids meals and one burrito. When we opened the bag, we found 2 bags of chips. When we asked the worker where the rest of our chips were, she told us that there is a chip policy of one small bag of chips per 2 tacos. This "policy" is nowhere to be seen on their paper menu or online menu. We have made 3 orders in the last two weeks, and each time this "chip policy" has been different. First order was according to the menu--two bags of chips for one burrito and one kid's meal. Second order was not quite 100%, but did not bother to say anything because it might have been an honest mistake--three bags of chips for one burrito and three kids' meals. Today, when I asked for more chips, the worker threw in one more bag of chips, but then informed us of their chip policy and said next time there will be an extra charge. To give a little background, we order 3 kids' meals for 3 kids. We are not ordering kids' meals for adults just for the lower price. And we order the kids' meals because it says on the menu that kids' meals are "served with chips". 1) If this chip policy does exist, PLEASE make it CLEAR on all your menus...either in bold print or small print. Just put it somewhere. 2) If this chip policy does exist, make sure ALL your workers follow it with EVERY order for CONSISTENCY. 3) There is no manager on site until tomorrow, Tuesday...

This place used to be good, prepandemic. I think it has to have changed ownership recently, the staff is new, the kitchen is new, and the food is god awful. Previously I always enjoyed their food, despite it being slightly higher priced than some other less expensive mexican restaurants you can go to in Tustin. Last time I went with my family it was a disaster. My enchilada barely had sauce, tasted like it came from a can, old tortillas, my wife's quesdilla was half the size as they used to be, cooked incorrectly, and my kid's taquitos were overly fried. It was terrible. It's pretty rare a restaurant sucks this bad food wise. SuperMex is about twice as good and about the same price. The food at Baja Fresh is better than here at this point, and Baja Fresh is *not* good food. I'd bet thousands of dollars that someone decided to cut costs, pay cheap cooks, and stop paying as much for fresh ingredients. Don't go here. Save yourself.

If you are going to be serving Mexican food, Please perfect the basic cooking and seasoning techniques of Carne Asada and Carnitas. Ordered Carnitas burrito and Carne Asada tacos. Both were so dry I had to order an Ice coffee next door from Peet to swallow the food. The meats as well as the salsa were devoid of flavors. The Rice was not moist. The tortillas were dry and hard . Any food truck Mexican food would put this place to shame. End up throwing half the food away.

Horrible service- rude manger Miguel --I was at the resturant on 1-16-22 and was over chateged for taquitos. Thier yelp add says $2.50 ea and I was charged $3,75 ea. That's alot $6.25 extra. I asked the girl at the register before I ordered how much the taquitos ala cart are by saying about $2,00 ea right she said yes. Then after I paid I noticed I was over charged. I tried to talk to assistant manager on duty and they directed me to Miguel. I asked him can you please right this error by crediting my card? He said no. Wow, bait and switch and bad service. I hope you avoid this resturant by reading this review.

Pretty good food, it's essentially a Chipotle that tries to virtue signal with the "eco" part by giving you paper products. I would much rather go to Chipotle because the service is usually nicer and I hate paper straws.

So delicious! We love the salmon fajita plate which George the chef always knocks out of the park. Has just the right blend of herbs and spices to bump up the salmon in an unusual yet delicious way. Two thumbs way up!

I love to come here for breakfast. Try the veggie breakfast burrito, it’s my favorite! The Carnitas Burrito is also really good. They have indoor and outdoor seating in a nice plaza.

My bf and I came here because we wanted to try this Mexican food cuz it's local to us. So, we ordered a carne asada burrito, chips and guac and vegan enchiladas but the enchiladas ended up coming with cheese and sour cream. Then, I wondered "Maybe they don't know what vegan means?" So, then my bf reordered for me and said no cheese or sour cream and he paid again. They brought me my food after a while and there was cheese on them again, but it was under the cabbage, so I took a bite without knowing. This was disappointing. So, then I let them know that this was the 2nd order that I had made for enchiladas and they keep coming with cheese. The girl behind the counter said she asked my bf if I wanted cheese (he had walked up to the counter and said no cheese no sour cream and she nodded yes as if she understood). I was so disappointed that I just wanted a refund for that order of enchiladas at this point. She responded and said "he's already making them" even though it was about a minute between me letting her know the order was messed up, to when she asked the cook to remake them. So, then I insisted on a refund because I didn't want a third order of enchiladas and one of the other girls said "My manager isn't here, so I can't give you a refund." I don't know how in the world they wouldn't be able to give someone a refund without the manager being present? That makes no sense. What if they had a previous order that was screwed up? What would they do? Tell the person to come back later for their money? Any who, bottom line is their food was some of the blandest Mexican food I have ever had. The guac wasn't guac at all. It was pico de Gallo with avocado chunks. It didn't have any lemon or salt. It was just chunky avocado. My bf wasn't too fond of the carne asada burrito. It came with cabbage (which is odd) and it was also very bland. The enchiladas I did end up getting (third order) were flavorless as well as the rice and beans. The spiciest salsa was one of the mildest salsas I've ever had. Not authentic at all. We will not be coming back.

Two decently sized bag of chips, a burrito PACKED with guacamole that I didn’t need to pay extra for, and some absolutely delicious spicy salsa! I must have died and gone to burrito heaven! This place is an instant favorite for me as the price isn’t ridiculous, the food is amazing, and general atmosphere of the place is great. I didn’t interact with the staff that much as I had takeout, but I bet they’re awesome too.

Lime Avocado Salad with Carne Asada was fresh. The sauce was not too sour and had lots of flavor. Meat was cut in small pieces. I really enjoy it. Will go here again. Take about 15-30 minutes.
