Maldon's Bistro is a heavenly delight for anyone who desires delicious gluten-free French cuisine, baked goods and more. Plus the staff are professional and very friendly. I've eaten here many times now and highly recommend them as a person with a gluten allergy.

The French onion soup stole the show. The soup was not too salty and extremely flavorful with crunchy gluten free croutons and threads of cheese throughout. The Florentine crepe was very fresh and flavorful with crunchy bacon interspersed. The light gluten free beer was brewed by Divine Science in Tustin and was the best beer I have tasted in the last few years. It was very refreshing, with bright citrus notes. We will be back!

Amazing food and it's all gluten free! We had the short rib sandwich, gumbo, popovers, eggs Benedict and a cookie, all were great and we will definitely be back!

Love a great family owned biz! The vibe was great- quiet little breakfast spot on a Tuesday morning. I was greeted by David. The staff was excellent. Food was all gluten-free and although we don't have a GF allergy, the sourdough was unreal. Possibly the best I've ever had. The freshly made jams and mint infused water- such great touches. I went with a savory meal (the OC) but will be back for the crepes and fresh toast. Upon leaving, we mentioned it was a belated bday meal, and I was gifted a chocolate cupcake!

Ooooo I love a good gluten free find!! Maldon's is 99% gluten free except for one case of croissants. I would really like to see them oust those so they can be a full GF facility but at least they are separate. The owner has celiac so I felt safe eating here. The decor is very cute, but pretty loud inside. The lunch rush was intense. They do validate parking so don't forget your parking stub. I'm glad I went early, because it was packed. The server ended up sending our order wrong and my food came out and the rest didn't come out. We finally asked after about 15-20 and they had to rush to finish. Glad we said something. Service was good until they got really crowded, this place was small so you should come when you have time. I grabbed a cupcake which was pretty good. Not the best I've had but it was good compared to many others. Hoping to come back and get a good feel for this place on other days and I can't wait to try the bread they make there. I'll check out a sandwich the next time.

This place is a 'Gem' and very cute......My wife and I came in over the weekend because she's been bugging me to check it out .....and I'm sooooo glad that we did! My wife, Nina, ordered the Avocado Toast, which did not disappoint! Not only was it delicious, but the amount of avocado was a very generous portion , if you love avocados . I got the Tarragon Chicken Special, which was bomb, as well. The chicken was tender and flavorful, mushrooms n asparagus were seasoned nicely, sauce was tasty, and the herb biscuit (which was gluten free) was yummy! Thanks so much Dave for your expertise on the menu and helping us choose the right dishes AND getting our dog, Stella , some water and treats too! We were even treated to a sample of the French onion soup, which was also delicious....Lots of flavor, good amount of cheese, onions, and croutons (Thanks, Laura! ) Overall the experience was wonderful and we CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK AGAIN.......AND AGAIN! Dave, Laura, and their team made our first experience sooooo great....Thank you all for your kindness and great service! We look forward to seeing you all again VERY SOON!! 10 out of 10

Very slow service, waited too long to get our order and then got it wrong and some of our party didn't get their orders till we were ready to leave

I was in gluten free heaven! The server was very friendly, and the owner made a point of checking in with us several times. I had the cheeseburger on a gluten free homemade brioche bun with fries and the housemade ranch--I'm not normally a fan, but this was delicious!!! Highly recommend!!

I've seen Maldon's Bistro as a Hot and New on Yelp for some time now, but their limited hours closing at 3:30pm on weekdays makes it hard for me to visit. They are located in between some office buildings, near Porch and Swing. Park in the structure off Main and Gilette and they validate. This French café is visually super cute, but the seating is uncomfortable with really small tables. I didn't enjoy sitting in a spot where their other patrons and even staff continuously bumped into me. My friend ordered a Short Rib Sandwich ($18?) which is served with fries, salad, or chips, in which they opted for fries. The short rib sandwich was a hit. It came with au jus for the sandwich, and ranch for the fries. My friend spoke highly of her meal. I ordered a cup size French Onion Soup ($8) which was incredibly flavorful and delicious. Next time I am definitely getting a bowl. I also ordered an OC Omelette ($15) which has thick cuts of bacon, gruyere, and cheese. The egg was so soft and fluffy. It was topped with avocado, which is probably the touch that made it OC. It was tasty but felt light. It was served with a slice of toast so it was filling despite looking like a small portion. Since I ordered soup, I only finished half of my entrée. Very enjoyable. The only thing that would have made it better would be a piece of butter for the bread. We both definitely want to come back to try more of the menu and we are already talking about coming back with our friend. Maybe we can get a better bigger table if we come back with more people. Oh I actually had to ask for a stamp card, staff did not offer it to me. I'm not taking points away since they're a new business but I hope they can make their process improvements and provide sufficient training to staff.
