I will never eat here again. I ordered the Beef tendon Plate, Beef soup, and Beef short rib soup. The beef tendon plate is supposed to come out like sashimi, not in a soup, but it was served in the same bowl with as much broth as the soup. It clearly seemed like it was served as beef tendon soup instead. When I inquired about it, the woman serving me became angry and didn't give me a chance to speak, insisting that I should mention differences with other restaurants and employment situations that I hadn't even brought up. Why should I have to hear about that? Isn't it the restaurant's fault for making the food incorrectly? I will absolutely never come back to this restaurant. It's the worst restaurant. I don't even want to give it one star. Lastly, one more important thing: They served what they called a beef tendon plate, but it clearly looked like beef tendon soup. It's the worst. There's a price difference of over $30 between them.

We were craving Korean soup and we're happy to find this place on Yelp. Got the galbi tang and spicy soondae soup. The galbi tang comes with a good amount of meat and the broth is light yet flavorful. The spicy soondae soup had a nice kick to it and contained a bunch of meat and soondae in the soup. The radish kimchi side dish was one of the best I've eaten as well. Service was attentive and the food came out quickly too. Would 100% come back!

Short rib soup is excellent which included many small sides. Especially the restaurant open early at 8 AM. I enjoyed as breakfast as well.

Food is average. SEOUL Haus gives you so much more portion and rice than this place. Kimchi is also average. They gave us so little rice that it was like kid's portion. If they are that cheap, i never want to return to this place. Even Korean soup portions were 1/2 of Seoul Haus. If you dont believe me, order to go at both places and measure. I am extremely confident i am correct.

Yesterday I went this restaurant based on great Yelp reviews. Unfortunately it did not meet my expectation due to the following reasons: 1. You will not be able to sit at booth table if you are the only person to dine there even if there are a lot of empty tables. That's what exactly happened to me. I was told to sit at a two-person table only. 2. You will have to put your own utensils and napkins on your table from your next table if your table does not have utensil and napkin boxes on. That's what happened to me as not every tables had utensil & napkin boxes, and it was really weird to put them on my table by myself. 3. Rice was a bit lack of softness. Probably less water they used. I had a few bites of it, but could not eat anymore. Thankfully their soup was good. 4. Despite this, their bill started with 18% tip. Since their waitress was running around to serve all, I still gave a good tip just because how hard she worked even though I didn't get served much. Bottom line, it was my first and would be my last time to visit this restaurant unfortunately. I'd rather to be served and give a really good tip than not to be served if I dine in the restaurant. I gave two star review just because their soup was good. Maybe "to-go" might be better for this place.

Solid korean soul food. The prices when you dine in are reasonable. I dont speak fluent korean and the menu is a little difficult to discern. Look at their menu online and translate the korean name to english with the related description. This will definitely help you as the servers dont speak fluent english. I had the sullungtang (brisket soup) and it was as good as some of the spots in k-town. Dining in is the way to go...there is something about delivery orders that just doesnt work for soup dishes like pho. It is a small place and is usually busy during lunch so go early if you can. I Love that they have extended hours on Fri/Sat. Definitely will make this a regular stop for me.

Once I donated and once I ate at the restaurant. The sundae soup was so authentic and delicious, and the sundae and other meats were delicious without any odor~~~???Soup and rice require really good kimchi, and the radish radish kimchi and cabbage kimchi were really delicious~? I heard that they also sell kimchi.Next time I will buy it and eat it with kalguksu haha. The store was clean and friendly~~I hope this taste continues like this???

A place where you are told to leave when you have finished eating. Even though I stayed for 40 minutes. It's a bonus to see right before your eyes how much you throw the bilge and tip! The taste is also ordinary. If you want to ruin your day, go to this restaurant. When you finish eating, you will be asked to leave. They’ll throw you the bill and check how much did you tip standing right in front of you.

Coworker mentioned this place just opened up not long ago, and with the cold weather - we decided to come here. Hot soups on cold days just hit differently and Moobongri def did not disappoint. I, of course got the most expensive one haha. The Spicy Beef Brisket with Veggies Soup Bowl. It was delish! These soups are different than the soondubu soups that are frequently enjoyed. The soups they serve here are much heartier and are much more filling. Service here was great as well. Server was quick to attend to us and was always quick to refill our cold side dishes. And at $24 for my bowl, I ain't even mad. The soup and fillings with the rice?! *chef's kiss* a perfect meal. I feel it was well worth the price and will definitely go back again.

So so yummy! This was the best after a night out and sleeping in. Really comforting and filling! Sides were also good and they replenished it very quickly. Staff was very friendly!

This is a surprisingly good gukbap spot in Irvine. Tried the Chal Soondae plate and Spicy beef brisket with veggies soup (Ddaro gukbap). Both were very good. The Soondae is made with "Chapssal" rice which is known for its soft and sticky texture after it is cooked and makes the soondae taste even better and is unlike the usual Korean blood sausage. It was so soft, chewy, and delicious. We practically devoured it. The Spicy beef brisket with veggies soup came piping hot in a stone pot. It was so flavorful and very filling. The side dishes that came with the meal were perfect compliments to the soup. Overall, had a very pleasant experience and will definitely come back to try the galbi tang and Soondae guk. The staff were very friendly and made sure to refill the side dishes.

Terribly bad restaurant experience.I am leaving a review in the hope that you will not have the same experience as me. Even though there were 2-3 empty tables, there were 4 teams waiting. At the table we waited for, there was something that looked like spilled side dishes, as if the table had not even been cleaned. It was a busy restaurant so far, so it was understandable. The food was nothing more than ordinary food with strong seasoning. There was a problem with payment. When I asked to pay as 2:1 with two cards, a middle-aged woman who appeared to be the owner quickly threw a bill plate with the cards on it, muttered something to us, and moved to take another table's order. (I'm not kidding, she THREW the bill and card back on our table and left) As soon as we asked again and paid, she kicked our group out with the excuse that there was a wait outside. Of course, there were two empty tables that had been cleared. Our group didn't make a fuss or cause any trouble, but her attitude made us have a very terrible weekend evening. I won't visit again, but at least I hope you don't have the same bitterness

I got the beef short rib soup and I thought it tasted very comforting. They gave a pretty good amount of short ribs and were very attentive when we were low on sides!

We ordered the short rib soup. It was honestly amazing, the flavor was perfect- I could eat it everyday. 10/10 Totally recommend
