Haven't been here in a long time but glad to know it's still around. Food: 4/5 - flavors and taste are very good. Garlic naan is still awesome. Skimpy on the proteins. Only 4 small pieces of chicken with my chicken curry. They've kept up with the furniture so the place still looks new. It's clean and well maintained.

Today I purchased a two item combo of chicken tikka masala for $14. The quality of food was good but the value was rip off. They gave me a moderate serving of rice, a small side of eggplant but only two little pieces of chicken and when I told the clerk that they should include more chicken he said I could purchase a side of chicken. The clerk was rude too. I was trying to ask him some questions about the menu when I was ordering and he was rude and impatient and acted like he was annoyed. I will never go there again

Delicious Indian food in a casual setting. It's less spicy than other places but the food is still very flavorful and you can always request extra spice if you'd like. The mango lassi is delicious and the garlic naan is worth trying too!

This is my favorite Indian cuisine by far. The staff is always super friendly and quick with service, and even knows my friend and I's orders by heart. The food here is exquisite, with the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala being must haves!! The chicken is always so tender and falls right apart, cooked to perfection every time. They also have fantastic samosas and other dishes! Highly recommend!

The chicken curry is so bland and tasteless. It’s not even close to being tasty. I only like the garlic naan. Everything else was pretty basic. It's not even close to being authentic.

Really good food and it always looks clean. However it's just so hard to order because We feel like we are always so rushed even when no one else is there.

My husband and I adore Natraj's Tandoori! The Chicken Tikki Masala is lovely, as is the Saag Paneer. The Saag Paneer inhabits my dreams. It is wonderful. I have tried the Baingain Bhata and absolutely loved it! The garlic naan is wonderful. Do try it!

damn I was a harsh critic. love to get the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan, lots of big pieces of breast meat now. could give a little more rice with the large order of CTM, but you get enough carbs from the naan. love it.

If you are looking for a place to enjoy some delicious Indian food with a side of sass, look no further than Nataraj Tandoori. This restaurant is conveniently located on Quail Hill Pkwy in Irvine, where you can easily find parking and a table, since it is always empty. The cashier will greet you with a charming smile and a friendly attitude, as long as you don't ask any questions or expect any service. You will have to order and pay at the counter, but don't worry, the food will be ready in no time. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food, which is the only reason why anyone would come here. The portions are generous, the spices are authentic, and the flavors are amazing. You will forget all about the rude cashier and the lack of ambiance, as you savor every bite of your meal. Just make sure you don't leave any tip, because they don't deserve it. Nataraj Tandoori is the perfect place to go if you want to treat yourself to some great food and some bad service. You will love it, or hate it, or both.

Natraj's Tandoori is a fast casual restaurant, so you order and pay at the counter. Their combo meal for $13.99, with your choice of two entrees from the steam table, rice and freshly made naan (garlic naan is .69 upcharge). You can choose from eight different items, including chicken tikka kebab and dal. The chicken tikka masala seems like it's the most popular and is a reliable choice. On the veg side, I like the saag paneer and the baingan bharta. It's more food that I can possibly finish, and I wind up saving most of my naan for later. You can place an order online, though I've just stuck to ordering the combo at the counter since it's usually not too busy. They have space indoors and out on the patio to enjoy your meal. Plenty of parking in the lot.
