This club claims to have a Gold Membership, for $13,000 per year, unlimited golf, guests at a discount rate. HOWEVER, it is apparently managed directly by Duncan Sims, the GM, whom i have called 3 times leaving messages, and sent two emails, none of which have been responded to, attempting to see if i can sign on for this. I guess maybe you have to know someone, or be part of an inner circle, or maybe need to pay someone off, to get access to this. The boy reason they get two stars is because the course itself, and the other staff is have dealt with, are pretty dang great.

Best kept secret in Orange County ?

Breakfast was yummy and the service was great!

Can’t believe that you have to pay to simply use their chipping green. Never going back.

This is just a great golf club. Impeccable course, not too easy not too hard, 4 hour pace for 18 holes. Friendly and efficient staff and management. Serene environment with lots of trees and birds. Very relaxing. For me, the best course in Orange County.

Easy access, mice driving range as i prefer grass to just dirt. Nice yardage markers

This review is only for driving range. Practice facilities are great, however the price for a large bucket of balls will prevent me from coming here again. I’m not from around here…but $22 for a standard bucket is way too much.

Played today and the Greens are in much better shape. Course is in good condition but pricing is too high for this course right now if you’re not a member.

Invited for a round recently, first time at Oak Creek. Felt like an oasis in otherwise busy Irvine. Really liked the range. Checked out the pro shop. Didn’t buy anything but seemed like a good range of quality clothing. Course conditions were great, with friendly staff (as expected at an Irvine Company property). The restaurant/cafe was the perfect end to the day. I figured the food would be decent at best but was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes beyond standard bar fare. Despite the options I picked a hamburger which really hit the spot after round. Looking forward to my next visit. Oh yeah, dope carts too!

Always a great track, coming in nicely after fall maintenance. ?

The range technically closes at 9 because they stop letting you purchase balls at 9... update hours please

Course is a great all around course, good Orange County golf in a great location. But the prices here? They must think they are Whistling Straits. $22 for a bucket of range balls. And last weekend a Saturday morning tee time was $295. This is a normal course. It’s well kept and fun to play, but no crazy views, nothing exceptional about it. Anywhere else in the country this course would be maybe $80 to play. If you get the players club membership for $600, you then pay $150 for a round and now the large bucket *only* costs $18 lol. You pay $600 to then still pay more than any other course charges for a bucket. Given it’s a grass range which is nice, but that’s not the only grass range around. Orange County golf prices are out of control everywhere but oak creek is on another level right now. If you can get on for a big discount, definitely play here, but at list price, might as well just go play monarch

Grass was chewed up by the time I got there. I'm sure morning sessions are better.

This driving range is a joke and a total waste of money. It's nothing but hard-packed dirt and weeds. For the money they charge, one would think this would be one of the finest ranges around. Not so. They obviously don't care about the condition and are just in it for the money. Don't waste your time or money on this place. On the other hand, their practice putting green is well maintained.
