5 stars alllll day. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Literally the best steak and eggs. I've been to every fancy hotel and breakfast place in California. I've paid $150 for steak and eggs multiple times and NONE of it compares to the steak and eggs here. Literally nooooo comparison. Anytime I eat steak and eggs somewhere else, I instantly regret it. The customer service is impeccable. You don't leave here feeling bloated. The food here is made with the best ingredients. The environment is great. Poached kitchen for the win. I eat here everyday. It never gets old. Everything on the menu is great. The best steak and eggs ever.

Finally got to try this place! We tried 3 times and all 3 times my patience was not having it. Short rib Benedict! Perfect combination of sweetness, tangy, and spicy. Also the waffles it's crispy but chewy and delicious! I like that they designate a table to you instead of hunting for a table.

Hash browns are the best I've ever had! Sooo crispy. Amazing iced lavender latte. Super fast service, very cute inside! A bit overpriced to me, but maybe that's just SoCal. Definitely gets filled up in there but they seem to have an amazing system and get folks in and out efficiently.

Poached has so many options to meet everyone's tastebuds. Everyone in our party of 10 enjoyed their breakfast. The only reason I'm giving four stars was we were a party of 10 and planned to go up and order but the waitress said she would take our order and did but didn't ask about separate checks but then couldn't separate the checks so had to reorder again and pay one by one. Would've been much easier to just walk up and place orders but hey ya live and learn.

Best thing was the ketchup. Dry chicken breast, the cheese wasn't melted on the tuna sandwich the bread was super hard unable to even chew.

We have 2 favourite breakfast/brunch spots in Irvine... and this is one of them. We eat here regularly and always have a great dining experience. Highly recommended.

Wow! This restaurant was everything and more that I could've expected. The food was absolutely scrumptious! I was recommended the chilaquiles and normally I wouldn't think too much of a dish mainly made up of tortilla chips but this was the best tasting chilaquiles I have ever had. Especially since I got it with a side of machaca which added some yummy meatiness to the dish. We also shared their flavor of the month, which was their tiramisu waffles. The lightness and crispness of the waffle coupled with the delicious whipped mascarpone and coffee infused chocolate syrup made this THE best waffles I have ever had. My bf got the breakfast burrito and it was an explosion of flavors and textures. This restaurant far exceeded our expectations since the service was also superb and has us dreaming of the day we'll come back!

Reviews online lied. No vegan options without taking a part half the menu item and not paying $12 for oatmeal.

Great food and excellent service. It was crowded when we went in a Sunday morning but they moved people though pretty quickly.

Poached Kitchen is a super popular place for brunch, with a line out the door on the weekends. I arrived at around 10am on a Sunday and waited about 15-20 minutes until I made it to the front of the line. It's kind of an unusual set up because you line up and then are let inside to order at the counter once a table is available. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available (there are headlamps outdoors). The food came out pretty quickly, considering it was a busy Sunday morning. I usually agonize over which protein to select for my breakfast burrito ($16) but at Poached Kitchen, you'll get all three (bacon, sausage and chorizo) so you don't need to choose! It's filled with eggs, meat, hash browns, pico de gallo, white cheddar and serrano aioli and comes with a side of salsa roja. Sometimes breakfast burritos are complete belly busters, but this one was easy for me to devour. My friends got the breakfast tacos and said they were delicious! The other dishes like French Toast and waffles that we spied on neighboring tables looked amazing so I'll be back for those! They also have an alcohol license so you can enjoy a mimosa or sangria with your meal. If it's cold outside, you may want to sit indoors. We weren't able to get a heat lamp initially because they were all being used, so it was a bit chilly. Parking may be a bit tough right next to the restaurant, but there is plenty of parking over in the lot by the Ralph's.

Super cute, casual place for brunch! Their food was really good, and I loved how fluffy their waffles were! I got the Dulce de Leche coffee that the worker recommended and I loved it!
