One of my favorite spots to eat at! great staff and even better food. Their honey walnut shrimp is great.

The homemade wonton soups remind me of the wontons my parents make! Black pepper beef, beef noodle soup, and green beans were all delicious too. So glad my friend recommended this place.

The food here is good, tasty and homemade. The family works the restaurant and are there mostly everyday. They'll need help especially in this current climate, so please support them if you can! I come here quite often and usually get a vegetable (string bean) and an main, they also deliver online in the food apps. Their shrimp and egg is great and their food is consistent and reasonably priced. Any of the fried rice is great, I usually get the shrimp. Try it out! Please support local mom and pop shops that may need help! It's hard and exhausting to run a restaurant! 請支持小餐廳! 開餐館不容易的,而且他們家的價錢跟分量都非常合理!

We planned to eat at Jinbei today but they were closing in less than an hour. With over 5 groups on the waitlist and we were on a time crunch, we decided to try Ren Asian Bistro. From the outside, I thought it was going to be this fancy, intimate, dark ambiance Asian fusion spot but I was wrong. Very casual- Menu reminded me of Newport Seafood but food could not compare. Newport Seafood is still better. We got the cream cheese wonton, nothing to rave about. BF wanted the Crispy noodle with beef, chicken and seafood. It was pretty good, the noodles were perfectly cooked, seasoning was good and the amount of meat/seafood wasn't horrible. We also got the salt and pepper pork chop (one of our faves from Newport seafood). I would not order it again here. It wasn't as crispy, too salty and they don't have red vinegar. Service wasn't there, we weren't checked up on or got our waters refilled but I guess that's expected. ‍ Overall, this place was just okay, possibly won't be coming back here unless we are desperately craving some Chinese food. Even that, I think BF would just want Panda Express - haha!!

So this location has gone through a couple transformation since my last review (2016). It was a little rough between 2017-18, but they have absolutely found their footing since then. Their lunch specials are AMAZING. Dishes ranging from $8-$9 depending on the selection and it includes rice, and an egg roll. If you dine in, it also comes with a cup of Hot and Sour soup. We often recommend this restaurant when we have friends over as they can easily sit large groups.

I am from the Bay Area and have been hunting for good Chinese food in the Irvine area. I finally found it. I had food delivered by DoorDash and Everything was excellent. It was obvious everything even down to the dipping sauces were house-made. I almost never leave a five star review but they deserve it.

The food here tastes fine, nothing spectacular, but the reason for two stars is the nickle and diming with charging for things like rice. First off, you're already charging more than market relative to other places in the area for your food. But then to charge extra for ONE small container of rice when I'm ordering 5 entreees and soup is more than a little much. Shouldn't the rice come free as part of the entree? I mean, what does it cost this place to serve Jasmine rice ... I'l lbe generous and say it's probably roughly 5 cents per container for the restaurant? And it's not like I was asking to swap out brown rice in which case I understand the upcharge. Every other Chinese establishment I've ordered take out from gives rice complimentary when you order an entree and this place should not be an exception, particularly when accounting for the higher prices.

What happened to this place? No utensils with your take out. No rice with our entrees. Really? It's rice. That's not cool. So much for a neighborhood takeout joint. They took out everything that would make it convenient.

I've been here twice and both times food was very good. Beef and Broccoli and chicken chow Mein is on point.

I had beef noodle soup and Thai tea. Both were really good. It's a nice clean and well lit place which I prefer. I'll be going back to pick up lunch for my wife next week. The price's are higher than puente hills area but so is the rent. Try it if you are in the area.
