Went with my parents for an early Christmas dinner and service was great… food was delicious… and atmosphere was on point!

First time here and just loved the place. It is a big place, but we were surprised at how quick we were served, how attentive the server was and the pace of service. The food was great. They have a huge selection of different food and a great selection of beer on Tap. I cant even begin to make recommendations, but everything we had was great.

Since it opened, we have been going to Lazy Dog at the Irvine Marketplace countless times for dinner, lunch, weekend breakfast or for some drinks and appetizers at the tall tables by the bar. Last Saturday my wife and I went for a drink & appetizer moment. Unfortunately, it couldn’t materialize bc something has changed at LD. When we arrived somebody with a tablet at the entrance door was keeping the customers outside blocking the access to the reception desk. We walked to the bar area and had a seat at one of the tables as usual. A waiter walks by toward the entrance and came back to ask us if we had registered at the entrance. We told him about previous visits and he said that now the only open seats are at the bar counter itself. As an exception he offers to take our order. I asked for my favorite beer and he said that LD didn’t have it. I told him that I had it in previous visits and his unpolite response was: “we got rid of it”. At that point my wife and I were uncomfortable enough and decided to leave. We were given exactly the opposite of what we were looking for: a relaxing moment. Amazingly the place was 90% empty. Most people were at the bar counter. We walked across the parking lot to BJ’s where we got a relaxing moment our way, that is, bar table open seat, friendly waiter, my favorite beer and so on.

We were served tonight by Heather. She was EXCELLENT! Attentive, helpful and nice. She checked on us repeatedly but not interrupting. She genuinely seems to enjoy her job and made us feel welcome. Heather, you are appreciated for your attention to your customers. Thank you for making our meal more enjoyable. "You made our night!" We also spoke with Arely (mgr) who was appreciative and happy to hear how much we enjoyed our meal and service. The beer and food are top-notch! We frequent other locations, but this one has them beat.

I guess i have never gotten around to ever writing a review for Lazy Dog but i usually have their food at least once a month becuase my office orders from here for lunch or ill meet collegues here for lunch or HH. The menu here is pretty diverse so you can usually find something for everyone. I tend to stick to the basics like the burgers, salads, even the salmon plate, fish tacos and things like that. The beer selection here is pretty decent which is probably why somedays its really busy when they release a new variety. I guess they have a pretty robust beer club going on. On most days you can find seats easily but when they are really busy it can take like 30 mins for a table. Prices are reasonable here and its casual, best part is you can bring your dogs and sit on the patio which also has heat lamps during the winter.

Went here weekday night around 21:30. The female server with glasses was kind enough to let me scribe my own salad. She didn't overcharge either. The back cook was also a female. And this was the beautiful raw vegan salad that was made for me. It was scrumptious! Thank you Ladies. 10/10!!!!

It's become so hit or miss here these days. Service is always super friendly but the food is inconsistent. I have tried brunch here a good 5 times and every breakfast items I've had was gross. Eggs are such a basic item that you just have to get right at every restaurant. Every time I've ordered eggs for my kids here they are brown, ragged and terrible tasting. They really need to do a better job with brunch. As for lunch and dinner the menu item selection is good but like I said earlier the quality is so inconsistent. For instance a stir fry dish will be good one time and absolutely terrible the next time. These days with the economy people really don't want to waste their money on mediocre or bad food.

Portions are huge and some of the employees are great. Our server wasn't the best and gave us our check without asking if we wanted to order dessert or anything. And we did order dessert! Overall very cool and chill place. There's a bar area and I hear it's dog friendly. I ordered the house club sandwich which was so good after a workout. I'd prefer the toast to not be toasted bc the root of my mouth got cut a lot. The fries were so good too!! The apple huckleberry open face pie was so freaking good too!

My husband and I love coming here. The food is always delicious, the customer service is outstanding, and they are always very careful with food allergies. And bonus because we can bring our dog with us to dinner and they even have a dog menu so he can eat too. I want to specifically point out that Helena was an amazing waiter for us this last time we went. She went above and beyond for us making sure everything was just as we wanted it and she was really amazing with making sure we used all of our Beer Club perks. We left with so many goodies to take home because of the perks that we didn't know we still had. All in all Lazy Dog is always such a great place to eat. I recommend it all the time, especially to my dog-loving friends.
