We decided to give this place a try on a Sunday afternoon. We were chillin at the (dog) park (shoutout Lighter Shade of Brown) & realized we were ready for a light snack so we headed over to Roll Em Up. There was ample parking, but I think this plaza gets crowded on weekdays during the lunch rush. Although they have some seating indoors, it was a beautiful day so we wanted to sit outside. There's a lot of outdoor seating, but being so close to the airport the jet fuel smell wasn't doing it for me so we took our food to go. We ordered one of each kind of taquito they offer to try/share so we got potato, cheese, chicken, ground beef & shredded beef. The cheese and shredded beef were my favorites. They do ask you if you want your taquitos to be made with corn of flour tortillas. If you want a traditional taquito go with the corn tortilla because the flour tortillas, while still delicious, put you in flauta territory. I have no idea what they top these taquitos with but the topping are tasty. I look forward to returning to try their street corn and queso.

They were ok, but not the greatest.

Always tasty. Highly recommend getting their app so you can get rewards! The staff are always nice. Just a heads up there is a little bit of a wait because the taquitos are made to order. If you like crunchy taquitos, get the corn shell. The flour ones are a bit softer.

Great rolled taco concept. Loved the chicken tacos. Very fresh and tasty! Guacamole and salsas on top made them so good!

Simple and good. You choose what you want. You can order Taquitos in pairs. You can choose different fillings and choose between flour or corn tortillas. They fry it for you on the spot. So crunchy. I wouldn’t recommend take out, but eating them on the spot is so yummy.

I mean, what can I say. I LOVE taquitos. We used to go to the Brea location which used to be closer to home. Now since we moved and this location opened up, we are pretty much in the middle! The service was normal. They take your order at the counter and you wait for it to be ready. Nothing above and beyond on this visit. You can see them making your order right behind the counter. They come out hot, freshly fried to order. You can get them fully loaded, plain or something in between. We ordered 4 combos for us and quickly realized that was way too much salsa for our family. Next time we will only make two combos with the chips & salsa. Trust me, it got eaten at home, just not right away. We chose to enjoy our lunch inside. There were a decent number of tables both inside and out. I'm sure it would be crowded during the lunch rush bu we were there for a later lunch.

The last 2x I ordered food for my husband and I they forgot the chips in our combos. The manager said the owner would call us that day to talk about the interaction and no phone call going on 4 days now.I had a craving for their amazing chips and salsa and sadly we found HAIR BAKED INTO one of our tortilla chips.Sadly we won’t be going back. The manager was less than helpful on both occasions.

What the hell are these prices for average taquitos at best?? There are better options in that same plaza, go try them.

First time there. I love taquitos and thought I'd give them a try.You might think my rating is odd given the 5 stars for Food, Service and Atmosphere but an overall rating of 2. My big issue is the portion size. They were tiny taquitos. Like the same size of the kind you buy at costco and heat up in the air fryer. The picture does what I'm describing no justice but I felt I should include one. When it ends up being $13 with tip, you expect more than what was given. I get being at the Irvine Spectrum is insanely expensive but I likely won't return as I don't see the value for my dollar. I will add that the flavor and taste of the taquitos and the salsa were excellent. No food issues whatsoever, except the portion size.

This use to be one of my favorite lunch spots but they seem to be going down hill. The quality has dipped tremendously, my last few orders featured burnt Taquitos. My order from a week ago, they didn’t pack the salsa. My order today, they didn’t pack my chips. There won’t be a third, definitely check your bags before you leave!

We stopped by for taquitos again the other night. I had not been here in a bit. I was feeling some sweet Taquitos. Me and my girl stopped here and grab some to take home. I do not live too far from here. Taquitos are good and not expensive. My second time enjoying them.

I'm not sure when their chip policy changed but it had to have been recently because prior to todays visit, we ate here on the 21st and at the time they were still giving the small bag of chips on the side with each combo. Used to be great! This was something I mentioned frequently to people as a selling point for why they should visit this restaurant. Go for the taquitos but stay for some of the best chips I've had and you get a decent amount with each combo but don't be surprised if you end up ordering more! Today we went in and we're told they're now putting the side of chips in the taquito container. And I was like okay, maybe that's more eco friendly or something. Well it's some type of eco friendly. It's economically friendly for the company because when I popped open that container I had my usual three taquitos and my huge side of exactly 7 tortilla chips. It's a massive downgrade. Roll Em Up is great, the food tastes amazing; the restaurant is always clean and looks like a cool place to chill; and the employees are always kind, but let's be real there's plenty of places to get Mexican food. For the price of a 3 pack here I can get 3 taquitos, rice, refried beans and a drink at one of the many Mexican restaurants in the area. People choose to spend a little more and come to roll em up and it's just weird to start nickle and diming your customers after months of not doing so. Maybe if it had always been done like this it wouldn't be noticeable but I guarantee other frequent visitors are noticing and taking note.

The fully loaded taquitos are SO Good! The hot chips and salsa are tasty as well. Great service!

food was mediocre at best, customer service was also poor and the kid who was working there still managed to mess up my order even though it was two items.
