My fav Empanadas were the ham and cheese and the cinnamon apple. It was my first time having an Empanada. Really enjoyed the 1 year anniversary party. Congrats to 1 year. Thinking about coming back Thursday for the dessert special. i want to try some more. They are addicting.

Disappointed. The empanadas are pretty good generally. And the people I've shared them with enjoy them. However, this location is weird. It's difficult to find. It's very close to me but I'd much rather go to the Costa Mesa location. Last night I ordered dinner for my friends and I. One of my friends picked up. Apparently they ran out of potatoes. I ordered regular fries and a regular potato salad. They said in place of the potatoes they'd give an extra side of rice. I got ONE regular size side of rice. I paid for 2 potato sides. I also ordered a large side of rice. I received just a regular side of rice. I also ordered one cinnamon Apple empanada and one blueberry cheesecake empanada. I received two blueberry cheesecake empanadas... I also never received the cilantro avocado sauce that was supposed to come with our meal.. How difficult is it to properly fulfill an order? Why did I order from here? And why did I bother to leave a tip when I ordered, assuming everything would be done right? NEVER AGAIN.

I haven't tried their empanadas, also the recent reviews are not promising... and did not even get to that point. They have a terrible ordering system, only one phone# for all locations, online doesn't work, phone calls don't work and nobody answer. (they say I need to pre-order empanadas, 1 dozen, for Groupon) So I gave up.

I usually go to the Costa Mesa location which make them great. This is my first time going to the Irvine location... and definitely the last. I had Groupon for 1dz and I also bought about $40 more of extra empanadas. In total is was about 16 or 17 Empanadas and 4 dessert empanadas.... they all went in the trash. The desserts was nothing like the pictures and were all just full of custard. The actual empanadas which ranged from chicken, Spinach, veggie were all overly sour like it had vinegar. It was such a waste.

Came to pick up an order and no one was available for the longest time. Decided to leave. Very dissatisfied.

Get the Philly cheesesteak! It won't disappoint. Flaky and not too think crust with delicious flavors. Also got the beef pot roast empanada. Sooo yummy and definitely worth a try!

DONT GO HERE ON A SATURDAY! THEY ARE NOT OPEN!!! Let me preface this by saying that I've been to this location in the past so I do know what to expect. With that said, this location is not your typical restaurant/store set up. Instead, this location is located in a business office building. Once inside, there are at least 7 to 8 different "restaurants " that you can order from, take out style. Just approach the kiosk and pick the restaurant you want to order from. If you have any questions, each restaurant has their own Ring doorbell that you can press & someone from that restaurant will come out from the kitchen area to help you. Went here today, February 5th at 11am. Purchased a Groupon from this location for a dozen empanadas for $20. Good deal, right? FALSE! Location says it's open but it's not. Their Ring doorbell was not there and the kiosk did not have their restaurant as one of the places to order from. Tried to call their number but went straight to voicemail then abruptly hung up because their voicemail wasn't set up. LOL. Was determined to get some empanadas from this place so drove from Irvine to the original location in Mission Viejo. Once there, was told by both employees there that they could not honor the Groupon. Rather than make things right, they basically said tough luck pal. Im not salty. It just reflects badly on a business. Only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the empanadas were good & the family enjoys them. I'll think twice though about coming back here because it really was a PIA. Saturday traffic on the 5 & 405 can get kinda brutal

Well, I ordered the empanadas online for delivery. The order went through with no problem, but after an hour of waiting I finally got a phone call from the driver telling me that they ran out of empanas. I was confused so I called the restaurant and some girl answered and confirmed that she SENT THE DRIVER away 2 TIMES and asked him if TO CALL ME TO TELL ME they have NO EMPANADAS. She said that the manager is not available, and advised me to call the location in Mission VIejo. Called the business and they sent me back to Irvine by that time I had enough with the horrible customer service. At the end, I had no empanas and no money back because they couldn't figure it out...No resolution! Listen Cameron! If you want to be a typical white dude that calls himself MR. Worldwide for traveling to Argentina and "learned" about the culture to bring it to USA, and make money out of my culture (yes, I am from South America and I know empanadas better than you. I grew up with them) then you need to fix your business etiquette. Making money out something that doesn't belong to you and being an a****** is not good.

Definitely 5 stars for the taste and variety of empanadas. I had the original beef, ham and cheese, and chicken florentine specialty. All were excellent!!! But lose a star due to inconvenience and sauce issue. This site is part of SmartKitchens, where you share the front desk with a bunch of other "kitchens" and is managed by kiosks and ring doorbells. Took over 45 minutes for a dozen and there was no one to tell me how much longer I needed to wait (no one answered to my doorbell). I made the mistake of not ordering online. The online ordering includes a large sauce when ordering a dozen, but not when you order at the kiosk. That's fine, so I ordered 3 large (4 oz) chimichurri sauces, but they gave me 6 regular (1.5 oz) instead. And by the way, buying 3 regular size chimichurri sauces gives you 0.5 oz more for the same price as paying for a large.I'll re-review with a 5 star on my next visit if the taste remains the same and ordering goes well.

First off, I am Argentinian and empanadas are my favorite. I always, and only, order the traditional flavors (beef, chicken, ham and cheese, spinach, corn) These are fresh and authentic. Baked perfectly, golden and toasty on the edges. I ordered for pick up and my food was ready earlier than indicated. This new Irvine location is a little hard to find. It is a very secluded location in a industrial plaza, inside an industrial kitchen. The space is shared by other restaurants. They use an automated kiosk order system and credit/debit pay only. No staff or cash involved in order process. They text you when order is ready and you pick it up from a shelf. Never seen this system before but I found it to be very prompt and efficient. I am so glad this location is close by no. It is a great spot for a quick bite if I am in the area.

The empanadas here are sooooo good. I was being lazy and had them delivered so I didn't actually go to the restaurant. But the website was easy to navigate and the empanadas were delivered warm. The beef was my favorite although they were all delicious. Will definitely be back for more.

They use an automated kiosk order system and credit/debit pay only. (Use left terminal) No staff or cash involved in order process. They text you when order is ready. Some varieties have an upcharge per empanada. My order of a dozen comprised of pot roast, Diablo and chile verde, cost an extra $6 over base price for a dozen, so just under $40 before tax. Food is good if a bit pricey. Parking can be a challenge but much better than Costa Mesa location. Since this is a shared kitchen facility serving 14 businesses, it can be a little confusing to zero in on. Names are lettered on suite glass. No specific signage.

Ordered a couple of empenadas, one Diablo (bbq taste) and one filled with roast beef. If you like Shepard's pie, the roast beef tasted very similar, meat is tender, shell is flaky and crisp. The diabo also had a nice filling but had a very strong bbq flavor; if you like that it's the right choice for you. Overall not bad but at $4 each a little pricey. Of note: the restaurant is within "smart kitchens" in an industrial area. The entrance is not easily identified, so reference the photo to see what the outside looks like. Inside you order on a kiosk, and you can order from multiple restaurants within "smart kitchens", about 8 of them are possible

Great place and food. The service was wonderful. Cool way if doing business. If you think you're in the wrong place, your not.
