Great food and more than I thought I was getting which was great! I love the bento box style!

Stumbled across this place on Yelp and the food looked too good to pass up. They are apart of a ghost kitchen concept. I got the BBQ Mix Bento Box. Everything in the order was delicious and they gave a good amount for portions of meat each of the chicken & beef. I will definitely be coming back here again.

I was craving a Korean bento box and found The Goban! It's a little confusing navigating to the center where the store is, but they operate from a smart kitchen. This was my first time seeing one, so it was super cool! You just order from the Kiosk and have an option of choosing multiple choices from different restaurants. The food comes out in a reasonable time. I ordered the BBQ grill box, which came with bulgogi, grilled chicken, fried dumplings, and a side of four vegetables. The box itself is so cute and looks super modern. The serving size is large as this was two meals for me. The bulgogi with onion was perfectly cooked and marinated on a bed of white rice. The chicken was also super flavorful and juicy, not over-cooked at all. The fried dumplings were so crispy and delicious, they definitely hit the spot. There were four vegetables in the bento: pickled carrots, broccoli, pickled red cabbage, and bean sprouts. They added a refreshing crunch to the flavorful meats. I do wish it came with kimchi, but that's also an option as an additional side. Delicious food, I can't wait to come back to try their cheese katsu! Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for a yummy, filling meal.

I was confused at first with the high tech they have. Food was ready sooner than the estimated time. Chicken was tender and their spicy red sauce was perfect match. I would come back again. Enjoyed alot!!

This place serves the best Katsu! I ordered the Goban Katsu Box that comes with chicken and pork Katsu, gyoza, broccoli, corn coleslaw and pickled red cabbage! It was so good. I also had the Cheese Pork Katsu bowl and loved it, I recommend trying that on your first order! The chicken was flavorful and tender with a nice crisp. The portion was very generous and the quality was great overall. I also appreciated the fast service, the order took less than ten minutes to be ready. I will visit at least once a week from now on!!!

I work next to Smart Kitchens and I love these "high tech" places where you can order your food online and get the food at the designated pickup time. It is work efficient and for tech savvy people like me! It also houses other food businesses like an Indian, Tex Mex, sushi, etc. So many choices! So this was today's lunch -- the BBQ Grill Box. It has both beef and chicken, rice, veggies, and fried goyzas. It is a ton of food. It was exactly what I was in the mood for on this Foodie Friday. Korean BBQ is always delicious no matter what. In this form of a bento box was bomb! The veggies was a delight because it was the traditional Korean side veggie dish types of cold veggies. I didn't order it this time, but apparently they have kimchi. Noted for next time. The Goban is located in Smart Kitchen and that is located in Sky Park Circle. It is a bit hard to find if you do not know how to navigate Airport Business Center. That is the business complex of where my work is and Smart Kitchens. Parking wise it is easy to find. Just the navigation part can be difficult. Bon appetite and good luck and yum!

I've got Korean Fried Chicken Box that was so good. Nice crunch chickens also well seasoned and meal quantity is enough to full.

My family loves this place for take-out. My kids love the sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken. I love their veggie selections, the carrots, broccoli, picked red cabbage, and bean sprouts. Their meat is really good and I can tell that they use good premium beef. I was very satisfied with their service, too!

Quality food on the go! To first find the place, it's a little tricky finding it for the first time being here since the different places around the area look all the same. Parking wasn't too bad as there's multiple spots outside. When you enter the door, you'll see multiple monitor screens of different cuisines you can order. Then, you can order & pay for the food yourself through a monitor at the front desk. Wait-time was pretty okay for a weekday lunch prime time; about 15 minutes. The packaging came in a nice, spacious box that held everything together well. Prices were a little bit on the pricer side for a food delivery place. No indoor seating and limited outdoor tables if you wanna eat right after getting your food. To my surprise, the quality of the food was superb!!The bulgogi and chicken was very flavorful and had a great portion. The side gyozas was tasty and had a nice crunch, and the side veggies tasted fresh and healthy. It was overall very filling. I would come back and try the other dishes on the menu since I'm a big fan of Korean food! It's comparable to California Gogi Grill @ UTC in Irvine/UCI if anyone has tried that place. Would recommend for a pretty quick stop for classic Korean food, or if you want different to-go food options too!

This place is a new favorite! If you're looking for some good lunchbox style Korean street food, look for goban! I feel that they're all portioned very well, meat, rice, etc. I wish they had more room for the veggies though because it's also very good but very low quantity. Pretty pricey for what you get from the lunchbox but Korean food is always overpriced so I guess you can't really find a place that would sell Korean food for anything less. Some perks about this is that the food even comes in a really pretty box! This is on par with dosirak if you've ever been!

Delicious Korean Spot, me and my wife got the kbbq Bento Box, man that was delicious! Will def come back again for another order another time to try out more dishes. I'm interested in getting the spicy chicken bowl. Authentic flavors and tasty sides.

We came to this 8 in 1 restaurant for dinner today with my family which has contactless ordering. It's really cool and has a recording and video showing you how to order from multiple restaurants in the same storefront! There are Ring camera doorbells under each of the digital menus on the walls so when your order is ready you get a text and can ring the bell for the order to come out if it's not already there. I ordered from Goban because I've been craving some good Korean food without the all you can eat prices, this hit the spot! The BBQ box is inexpensive and has everything: pickled veggies, rice, bubgogi beef and chicken with gyoza on the side! My husband got Thai Food by George and he ordered the beef pad see ew and thought it was decent. He preferred the price and variety of my bento box better and their Thai iced tea was really good but a little bit small for $4 drink. We will definitely be back to get another bento box and perhaps try another restaurant too!

Read about them in the LA Times so was intrigued since it's fairly close to both my work and home. Didn't have time to pack lunch so used it as my excuse to buy lunch. The google maps direction coming from the South Coast Metro area was crap so don't pay attention to that one. The second time around after knowing where it was and coming from Tustin was much better. It's located in one of those rental/ghost kitchens which a lot of businesses seemed to have pivoted to and there's in handful around that area. This one is located in Smart Kitchens, which houses multiple restaurants. For parking, there's usually at least one spot that opens up in the round about (parallel parking), so you may have to wait a few to get a spot. The first time I went there were a few people in there that when I rang Goban's Ring, I wasn't sure if they answered or responded since the other customer and business there was talking and it was hard to hear since the pick up space/lobby is a fairly small space and their voices seem to be amplified in there. I had ordered online to avoid the wait. My first order was the BBQ grill box which is enough for two meals. The rice came out well and I enjoyed their gyoza. Do wish was just a bit more veggies. Meat was standard. Since my first time was fairly enjoyable, opted to try their Korean Fried Chicken my second trip so got that box. Sadly, the rice for this one wasn't as good as my initial bento box, the rice was mushy and the chicken was just ok. More like nugget meat, so didn't hit the spot. Was expecting more of a crunch/crisp to it. And wanted less processed meat. Also wanted to redeem my Yelp check-in but the staff was so quick in heading back into the kitchen both times I didn't get to use.
