Stopped here mid afternoon while on a long bike ride. Incredible fish taco and my first horchata latte - delicious. The chef and the host were super friendly and made me very welcome. Great food and great people.

delicious!! the service was fast and friendly. i’ve been yearning for good mexican food accessible in IV and this was my dream come true! i got a horchata and a birria burrito and coming from south san diego, i would say that these taste like home to me :) the food was filling but not overwhelming. the decoration was pretty too. they also called me senorita which was super sweet hehe please support them so they can stay in iv!

This is what IV needed. A Mexican restaurant that isn't greasy and doesn't add french fries to everything. Got the el pastor torta and I recommend to anyone. The salsas are what sealed the deal with this dish, an absolute must get

Just came back from Mexico and this place is the closest you can get to authentic Mexican food! The tacos tasted just like the street tacos I had in Sayulita and even had the little pineapple pieces in it. Small local business which we love, go support!

I came in a couple of days ago to try the food out for the first time. The carne asada burrito was very good and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. The salsa and the horchata were also very good. The staff were very friendly so I will definitely be back soon!

Decent burgers! The bun is so gorgeous and fluffy, not so sure about the patty - pretty average - I would also say the fries are average

Very high quality chicken and I would recommend just plain chicken and plain fries with a good sauce such as sweet chili. chicken tenders are more chicken than the sandwich for same price.

Chicken was cold, drink machine was broken, only redeeming factor was the decent fries

Rip off Caines Old Kyle's was better in IV Expensive Fries over cooked Ran out of their bread so they used store bought bread for my Texas toast. Upset

I've been eating at and supporting the SIlvergreen's family of restaurants for a long time now and have continued to support them through their multiple rebrandings and experiments but I have to say I have not had a worst meal from them, than my recent experience at Kyle's Chicken House. First, I love the concept - chicken strips, cheese fries, even a box that mimics fast-food fried chicken. The main issue is the chicken - which is a big problem since it's the main focus of the restaurant. I don't know who their supplier is but the chicken was definitely suffering from Woody breast. Look this up if you're not familiar. It was chewy and stringy and tough. You can even tell when you tear it apart with your fingers that something was wrong. The coating didn't adhere and the pieces were so thick and the coating was so thin (and flaky) that there was not much flavor. You had to dunk the strips in sauce to get any flavor. My partner and I both requested 1 sauce with our meals and we got none. My favorite part was probably the cheese sauce. I love cheese fries so it was nice to find a place that serves them. But even they were not great. You get so little fries in a combo (equivalent to a McDonald's small) and the cheese sauce was lukewarm. If they can't pull off this one item, maybe this location should switch back to a Kyle's Kitchen and serve burgers and salads.
