One of the few places in Isla Vista with FLAVOR. Naan Stop is a staple in this college town and we are lucky to have it! The food is full of big flavor, spices and quality ingredients - which can not be said about everywhere in IV. It's one of the few places I'd drive to IV for. The owner is one of the nicest people you'll meet and you can tell he truly cares about his business. His service, good energy and generosity is something we can all learn from. He makes sure it's comfortable,clean inside and ready to enjoy your amazing Indian food. Big fan of this guy!
Almost yacked after trying their biriyani, vindaloo, & pickles.. i'd be embarrassed to put a friend on to indian food for the first time and it being this.. This little cup of lamb vindaloo was $20 on ubereats & filled with potatoes.. it seems like yall only focus on the tikka masala and let the rest get cooked by a child..

This place is the only reason I'll go into IV. And it is worth it, too. My fave is the chicken curry with garlic naan. The food is full of flavor and always hot and delicious. The greens apple snow bubble is also yummy! The inside is nice and there's plenty of seating when it gets busy, but there's also some outdoor seating. The owners and employees are super nice and will chat you up.

The owner's genuine warmth and extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine added a personal touch to our visit, even offering us samples. Opting for the tikka masala chicken and rice bowls was a wise choice as we were treated to an authentic and incredibly flavorful meal. Additionally, the Thai tea boba drink became an instant favorite, perfectly complementing the spices of the food. With a blend of spices and authenticity that earned Naan Stop a solid 10/10, we'll definitely be returning to satisfy our Indian food cravings in SB. Highly recommended!
