This is a small tasting bar within the Julian Station. We enjoyed our chocolate and wine tasting. Selena was very knowledgeable about the wines from the region. She spent a lot of time talking to us about the varietals from the local wineries. The chocolate was tasty as well. We found a couple of wines that we liked and purchased them. We can't want to return and see what new wines they have to taste.
I had to check out this place after I saw my coworker's Instagram story featuring this gem. It is located in the Julian Station, just a few minutes from Julian's Main Street. My boyfriend & I did a tasting, grabbed a couple of chairs outside, & enjoyed each wine. We loved how all of the wines were local wines & we especially loved the Apple Wine. Yes, Apple Wine! The most delicious wine. So clean and lovely on the palate. Local, organic, no sulfites so no headache. I love the Rick's red lately. Smooth and easy on the palate. All of their wines are complex and vibrant yet complement the food without overwhelming.
