“I have eaten here a bunch of times. But tonight you guys outdid yourselves! My steak was excellent. So delicious!! My parents and I had come up to eat dinner at your fine restaurant to help celebrate my dad's birthday. At the end of our meal you guys gave him an ice cream sundae which was unexpected and very nice thing for you to do. I had mentioned to one of your staff about his birthday just because I am proud that my dad is turning 80!! Not expecting anything from it but thankful for you guys.“

“I go to Ewings atleast once a month and I was so excited when I found out they hosted events. I had my wedding in the back room last night and it was just BEAUTIFUL. They really did a good job decorating the back room for events. Patty was such a help to me and making sure I had everything I needed, the food is ALWAYS amazing, and staff is always the nicest. Bradlie was my server for all 40 people and she did absolutely amazing.“

“I'm just finishing my lunch right this second. The food and service here is always great. Everything is good but I always get the hot wings. Nobody does it better. Looking out the window is a beautiful Mountain View. They make their own beer here hence the name. Try it and see for yourself or come back again soon if it's been a while. “They moved across the street to That's Italian. We always sit wherever we want and the waitstaff is more than happy to serve us. The food is always more than enough and yummy. We have eaten dinner there also and it is so welcoming. I like to go there for breakfast or dinner. Casual dining in the morning and evening. I recommend it if you're up here.“

“I recently went the diner and had the best experience. My waitress tonight was exceptionally tentative. She went above and beyond to meet our needs. It’s hard to find kindness in services these days. Her name was Clarissa, I believe. You’re the reason we will be back. The food was a plus but your personality and service was exemplary!!“

“We came out for Kernville Kampout and passed Kern River Tavern a few times. It's only about a year old but definitely has the neighborhood charm of a decades-long watering hole. We were lucky to make it for Bingo (Sundays at 4pm)! $1 per game, per card. We got smoked by the local crowd ‍. The bartender LaLa was so friendly and gave us tons of great recommendations on drinks (whiskey sour vs old fashioned), sights to see nearby (nature-made water slide) and restaurants (McNally's for steak) to eat at. I enjoyed my whiskey sour and my boyfriend liked his beer! Saw some Harley memorabilia on the walls Had a great time. Note: no food, just a few chip bags or Chex mix available.“
