Semi busy lunch rush,...greatest right away which is always nice. I asked for a certain seat to keep a eye on my vehicle because my dogs were in the car staying warm from the snow fall. They said no problem, and let me pick a booth. Our food was correct, and hot. Seats were clean surprisingly,....a lot of wood in the restauran, so they for sure make the effort to keep it clean from dirt grime, and build up. The bathrooms were super clean. Over all a great experience for a midday lunch rush. The front door is in the back side of the establishment,.....make the effort to find it,...well worth it. PS. The bus boy at the time was hustling, and didn't look as his phone once. I appreciated that. Not many around.Wheelchair accessibility: Good access

Chicken sandwich and clam chowder were bland, service was not good, had to wait until we were pretty much done to get soda refills.

While visiting Reno I wanted to make a quick trip to Tahoe because it's only a 45 minute drive. I love to eat chicken wings as you can see through all my reviews. So I had to visit this place when I saw their menu. Unfortunately, the Wings had little flavor besides the sauce that it was tossed in. The wings were really dry. Makes me wonder how long they were frozen for. My friends ordered the pasta and salads. They said their food was good but this is my review on what I ordered. The restaurant itself you can tell has been there for a long time. This place does not have any modern upgrades, but it had a good home vibe to it.

Didn't really love my food, but the beer was reasonably priced and ice cold. Service was good. Solid 4 stars. Given the other options in the area, I'd probably come back here in the future.

This was our second time here, and we again had a positive experience. Good food; friendly, prompt service; and a pleasant ambiance. I enjoyed my grilled chicken sandwich, my husband liked his fish and chips, and my daughter liked her chicken strips, bacon, and lemonade. We appreciated the ability to swap out fries for a house salad, but wished we had been warned to expect an up charge. The service was attentive, friendly, and quick, and we felt well taken care of. The fact that they brought our 5 year old a coloring sheet and crayons right away was awesome. The indoor seating was cozy on a winter day, though it's a bit dark inside. During our first visit - last summer - we sat on the back patio and really enjoyed the views. Overall, this is great place, and I'm surprised by the mediocre reviews. We look forward to returning!

Best Bloody Mary ever! The French fries and ranch were also killer.

We stopped at Kings Lake for some outdoor time with the kids before driving back home to the Bay Area. This place is located right next to the lake which is perfect as we can walk over and have lunch after playing! Pros: -It's super close to the lake so you can walk around before and enjoy some outside time (maybe more so in the summer as in the winter it's freezing!) but the views are worthwhile especially to snap a few photos while you're visiting Lake Tahoe. This place is so convenient having it close by! -Kid friendly: they have high chairs, kids menu and crayons and paper for the kids. -Food is delicious!! I had the salmon ceaser salad, hubby had the BLT and the kids had the pasta and fish and chips. Everything was devoured!! -Place is spacious and has some nice decorations inside Cons: -It opens at 12 on weekdays. We literally had to walk around waiting for them to open. Lots of hungry kids by then! -There's a parking lot where the lake is but you need to pay $5. There is parking on the other side close to the street but not as many options. -Service: our food arrived in ample of time. However our server was a bit too quick on wanting to take our plates, kept checking in on us TOO often, and it was hard to enjoy the meal in peace. It's one thing to check in if we need anything, it's another to do that 3 or 4 times. So that wasn't appreciated. That's why I took 1 star off. All in all, I still recommend you try this place out as it is very family friendly and the food is pretty decent! Just be weary of possible "overbearing" service.

Location location location. And that's about it. Bar food at its modest. Nothing special about the food options unfortunately. I believe their menu has shrunk lately while the prices went up. I wish they had a better selection of food but as I mentioned in another review for a nearby competitor, finding decent food options in the Lake Tahoe area is very hard. Local Restaurants or Bars either try too hard (with laughable results) or they don't try at all. Sometimes I prefer places that don't try at all, that's why we came back to this place.

Kids said it was the best Mac n' cheese they'd ever had. French onion soup with the cheesy bread was AMAZING! All in all, very happy with the service from Matt. Thank you! Ambiance was super cute too!

Nice place, has been there a very long time. Full bar. We like to split a salad and also split the steak with loaded mashed potatoes and green beans. Steak has a nice black peppercorn sauce. Prime rib is good, too. Fun to eat outside on deck in summer, beach is right in front of you and sunsets are amazing. Nice menu, something for everyone! Service is good and friendly.

This place nails the Tahoe vibe. We walked over from near stateline after a good winter storm. Their was a lone local at the bar enjoying dinner and several beers. A couple young families were gathered around the fireplace taking refuge from the cold and wind outside. We sat at the bar, wine for my wife, beer for me. For food I had a delicious Cajun salmon sandwich and she went for some seafood pasta that the local recommended. Our meals were delectable. Good service too.
