“We always enjoy getting Mountain Slice whether it's for the pizza, the ice cream, or both! Make sure to call early in the day to place an order for dinner as they get very busy and sell out. Today we ordered the tie dye pizza. I am allergic to tomatoes, so I ordered it without the vodka sauce and extra pesto. Had a little miscommunication on my end about the sauce, so when we picked it up it had a tomato sauce base. We explained what we had thought we ordered and the two guys working quickly made a fresh pie. Very thankful that they were so accommodating. The pizza was delicious with pesto as the base sauce! The dough is the star of the show. We've enjoyed both the regular style and the Detroit style pizzas here. Would love if they started doing some pizzas with other base sauces! Love that they are starting to do late nights with more arcade games, late night pizza, and beer. I think that's super fun and will draw in a cool crowd. Great option since nowhere else is open late. Go get the best pizza on the West Shore!“
“We had a great meal! The lunch special was a great deal and perfect for our kids to share. We also got wings which were delicious and not breaded or too greasy. We also ordered a medium pizza. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Our server was SO sweet and patient with our kids. Highly recommend this place especially for families.“
“Their pizzas are wonderful. Definitely worth trying if you haven't. Don't go there often as they are out of the way for us. I'm compelled to write this review because of a fee they are now charging for pizza boxes. It was just under $4 and is literally to cover the cost of the pizza box. Very odd. I ordered mine to go but I'd be curious if I ate it there and then asked for a to go box would they also charge me? To be honest that whole tactic rubs me the wrong way. Just increase the cost of you pizza to offset it. What's next, bathroom use fee? How about a dish wash fee? Obviously these are absurd examples but it's the same idea. All of this is the cost of doing business. Ultimately it's up to the owner to make their choices but I just wanted them to know that it's a bad approach. That's my two cents. “The BEST pizza in Lake Tahoe by far! The crust is a perfect thin crunchy crust , the sauce has a great flavor with a hint of garlic! The toppings are all solid especially the pepperoni!! They make the homemade ice cream and if you know about Graeters ice cream from Ohio , they make a rasberry with dark chocolate chip that is SOOOOO creamy!! A must !“
“What a fun spot! The tables overlook the bowling lanes and there is also an arcade and a large bar area. Kids can watch the bowling action and it's pretty loud in there so they won't cause a scene if they get a little rowdy. My daughter was skeptical when I suggested eating at a bowling alley, but we enjoyed it so much we came back a few days later. The first night I had the Poke Tacos and she had the Noodle Mania. We both loved our dishes - 5 stars! Our server was very friendly and was on top of things even though the place was packed for ski week. On our second visit we both ordered chicken bowls - mine was the Sweet N' Sticky fried chicken and she got the teriyaki chicken. Here came with salad and rice. I upgraded to broccoli and fried rice. The portions were pretty large, and the entrees were cheaper than what we ordered the first time but we both thought they weren't quite as good as the tacos and noodles. Better value but not as tasty. The sauce that came on the teriyaki chicken tasted similar to the sweet and sticky chicken and fried rice so probably would stick with the non-fried options and be mildly more healthy. They also had Dole Whip - prices weren't posted but I think it was $7 for a whip or $8 for a float where they add some Sprite. We didn't bowl but dropped some coin in the arcade both times. The food is expensive but is so good and if you are on vacation go ahead and splurge!“
“I didn't leave 5 stars on atmosphere because I get delivery. I'm a local and I get this maybe twice a month and I have Never been disappointed. Margherita pizza is ta die fowah. “My favorite place in Tahoe City. Very good pizza, surprisingly great tacos, and good beer/soda selection. For fellow Tahoe Rim Trail hikers...this is only 300 feet off the trail!!!! Great ambiance sitting outside and my dogs like to play in Truckee river.“
“When your kid requests a dish twice in a row for the two nights we stayed in North Tahoe, you know that it's that good. The first night we had to get it to go, the wait was an hour long and there is no way a kid will wait for food that long. Ordering the food and pick up was really easy, and staff is very friendly and patient. We ordered the gouda mac and cheese with ham, and by far one of the most flavorful mac and cheese I had. The sauce, the cheese it was just so yummy. We also got the sausage pizza which was very meaty and tasty. Second night we were lucky enough to get a table, and staff is very friendly and informative. Inside had a full sit at bar and also regular tables. The second night we ordered the same gouda mac and cheese and thai curry pizza. Was very satisfying both nights. After a day in the snow, this place hits the spot.“
“Food is nice bar fare, quality, but at a bit of a premium. Craft beer selection is solid for such a small area, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Long tables and four-sided bar-top leaves plenty of room for groups. The staff is friendly but not annoying, professional, and seem to have a good sense of humor. All in all, a great spot to stop in for a laid-back lunch after getting off the hill, or just some brews with the boys. Oh, and they have live music (check with staff for days) and country line dancing every first Monday of the month. “We stopped for dinner after snowshoeing on a Monday. My calzone was delicious. The place was packed when we left. The one person was bar tending, waiting tables, and bussing tables. She did great for being by herself. ???I don't think it's normally this busy on a Monday. My first time here and I will be back!“
“Came here for a quick lunch since we were staying nearby and could walk here. There's not many options on the north shore but we weren't very hungry so opted for something simple. I ended up getting the the big kahuna chicken salad with pineapple and grilled teriyaki chicken. The salad itself was big and pretty filling. I enjoyed the canned pineapple for sweetness but the chicken was dry and the texture was similar to the already prepared chicken you can buy at grocery stores. The chicken was also too salty and the sauce was more just soy sauce than teriyaki and it wasn't sweet at all. Overall not a bad meal considering there's not a lot of eat around but I wouldn't choose to come again. We did get the local ice cream afterwards as well which was a nice treat. The banana chocolate chip was yummy and pretty light.“
“Great pizza and great service, we choose a specialty pizza and the ingredients were of high quality and fresh on a nice crust and I can safely say one of the better pizzas I had in 2023. We also got a Brussels sprouts appetizer to share and that was a hit with the table, paired with excellent customer service this places is a standout in the area.“
