Love The Grid! Pitcher of beer is $21. Great place to get a variety of local taps. Pitcher did have a lot of head though.

We drove into to Tahoe with a baby in tow and were super tired tonight. After a brief search we were happy to find The Grid was open and has an option to order online; their kitchen is open until 11. Unfortunately, after spending time picking out what we wanted and trying to order take out, it turned out online orders were temporarily down. The site instructed to call in. We tried calling but there was no answer. We waited a little bit and tried again... All for someone to answer and say, "It's Thursday and we're busy; you'll have to walk in." This person then hung up the phone. Needless to say, we will not be walking in. Especially not after going back and seeing other bad service related reviews. Safeway it is. Edit to add - the online orders being unavailable or being busy/understaffed are bummers but I wouldn't give one star over these things since they are sometimes out of restaurant control. The issue here was the way things were handled. If the person who answered the phone said sorry or acknowledged me at all/waited for me to say oh ok, etc... it wouldn't have been that hard for him and it would have changed a lot for my experience. Because he was so rude, I went back and noticed the other reviews about staff and service; then realized that this was more often than not the experience many people had. So again, I won't be subjecting myself to this joint.

I visited while here in Tahoe for work. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger. It was made to perfection. Very good quality beef and tasty cheese and mushrooms. I would definitely come back here again next time I'm in town.

Came here looking for a nice easy lunch in a comfortable setting for a dog and a toddler and this fit the bill. The outdoor patio was nice and spacious for our family. It was nice that they had TVs all around to watch the football games. The server was quite friendly and made sure the dog got some water too. We ordered the turkey sliders off of the kids menu, but dang, it was a big portion. Our toddler was super happy with the french fries and had a couple bites of the sliders. It was a portion that would probably make most adults happy. I got the crispy fish sandwich with a side of slaw and was pretty happy with it. It stayed crispy pretty much until the very end, so the last 2 bits or so the tartar sauce had made the batter and bun soggy but it was still delicious. Cole slaw was nothing special, but it was light and tasty and a great complimentary side to the fish sandwich. Cool spot for watching sports and grabbing some good food and a beer.
