They have somewhat decent food but the service is horrendous. Tonight they didn’t offer a single refill, they served tri tip that was literally cold. The fries work soggy and cold. They forgot my second side. The food took about an hour to come out and after I asked to pay the bill the bartender acknowledged my request as I tried to hand her my card. But she continued to serve other people for over thirty minutes afterwards. I ordered a couple things to go for my relatives. So I wasted literally half an hour of my life while the food I ordered to go went cold waiting. This kind of experience has happened to myself and my friends multiple times. The waiters hardly ever come by for refills, maybe once over the course of an hour and a half visit. The food often takes a long time even when the restaurant is almost empty and there’s always some excuse. On top of that the food is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s really good, but everytime I come here it’s different. The sides taste as if they have drastically different recipes depending on what cook is present that day. On top of the fact they’re often old and left out for a long time. When everything is made correctly and fresh it’s great. But the majority of the time they’re serving food that has sat out for too long on top of who knows what recipe they used that day.I keep coming back because there aren’t many alternatives and I’m very lenient and forgiving as a customer. But the fact the servers and bartenders are so blatant rude, careless, infrequent to actually check on your drinks, and that the food has such a high chance of being old… it’s not worth it. Some of the servers are friendly. One of their bartenders is nice. But the fact their staff is so uncaring and that they put such little effort 90 percent of the time I’m here is absurd. They often act like they’re bothered whenever someone tries to order a drink or ask a question. And the servers rarely come for refills. Why would I give my business to a place that has great potential while choosing to provide poor service. If they had a manager who would even halfway address these issues they would probably have 4 times as much business

I will start off by saying I want to like this place - I really do.The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is pretty good. Other people seem to love the food, and I only tried their smoked meats, not other entrees.With that said, unfortunately I am not a huge fan of most of their smoked meats. Most of the flavor comes from the rubs and sauces, and not the meat or smoke. The ribs had a good flavor but were far too tough, and while there was a smoke ring the smoke taste was simply not there. I understand most people like their ribs to have a bit of a 'tug' when you eat them... but they were simply not cooked long enough, thus leaving me feeling more like I was at risk of ripping my teeth out.The tri-tip was ok, although a bit dry. Again, there was a smoke ring but not much flavor. It was sliced to what I consider to be the ideal thickness for most people, and it was sliced properly (against the grain). Seriously - you would be surprised how many placed slice with the grain rather than against it.The pulled pork was dry, but the texture was pretty good and consistent. No major hunks of fat or un-shredded meat. Again, no smoke flavor even though there was a smoke ring.The beans however were spot on with the flavor and were really good. My wife and I devoured those.

5 tries and they lost my business.. first trip they were good and from there out it was terrible brisket so tough I couldn't eat it.. brought it back.. 3rd try they got it wrong and charged me more then what she said on the phone.. and the fourth try I was starving and I live right in the park so I thought let's give them another chance and they blew it.. however tonight was the last straw and I gave them every opportunity to make it right and I'm done.. you'd think they would try a little harder being I'm their neighbor ..Guess not and over 100 dollars and I can't even get some barbecue sauce.. That's Pathetic.. 0 effort= Bad food

Service was slow...we sat outside by the river...very serine and scenic ....had to go in and order our lunch....slow in gerring our food....Instead of bringing me a small cup filled half way full of mayo....( Iike to make my own fry sauce ). they put it on my hamburger !!!

Paid $18.99 for the brisket. Got the order to go. It was dry, hard and not fresh. Took two bites, not edible. I live 5 minutes from the restaurant. It's not like the brisket would have dried out, or got cold on the way home. So I took it back and tried to get a refund. The manager said that is the way it comes off the smoker, and then they let it sit in the juice. Brisket does not come out of the smoker like that. Manager offered to replace it, but If you let food like that come out of your kitchen, I'm not going to take another chance. All I wanted was a refund. Instead of a refund, I was given a $30 gift certificate instead. Nice gesture at first, but when asked if the $18.99 plus tax was refunded, which is really all I wanted, I was told no. So I was basically given a $9 gift certificate, since a majority of the value of the gift certificate was basically my refund. I know they didn't have to give me anything, but don't try to soothe me over and pretend you are being generous with a gift certificate when I have basically paid for 70% of said gift certificate. Was eventually refunded and after getting the refund I tried to tell the manager "I know it's not your fault the food came out like this..." she turned her back on me and walked away mid sentence. Not going back, ever.
