My favorite local place for pizza in the La Crescenta / La Canada area. I've had their bbq chicken, meat lovers, pepperoni, and cheese pizzas. The ingredients are fresh and you can taste the quality. Some might say it's pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We were pretty disappointed upon hearing that Georgee's closed for good. We found it one day several years ago while being in the area and hungry, so we stopped right in. Their Margherita and Hawaiian pizzas were always great, along with their Caprese salad and spinach salad. It quickly became one of our go-to pizza joints. Staff was always nice - even when we would often place a phone order 20 minutes before closing, and also very patient to answer questions regarding food allergies. So long Georgee's... we're not too wild about large pizza chains, but we'll see how Fresh Brothers pan out...

It's absolutely ridiculous that the new owners have continued to maintain an outgoing announcement that makes it appear they're open for business when they clearly are not. Their outgoing announcement informs callers about their businesses hours of operation when they have none.. zero. A lot of bad will because of how they've handled communications, or lack thereof during the transition period.

Oh no! I was going to head to Georgee's today and found out they closed permanently. Although I loved this place and grew up coming here, I really hope the owners have a great retirement! It's well deserved.

So sad. This was the place to go. Grew up eating here. Very sad to see them go. Best pastrami sandwiches.

Got an email from the store saying it was permanently closed. Anyone else got the email and want to confirm. The email said that Fresh Brothers was going to take over.

For 15 years, I have been regularly coming here to this wonderful pizza joint. I have gotten to know all of the long-term staff and George himself; they all felt like family to me for more than half my life. I remember the summers when I was a preteen getting a slice after school with a drink in the classic styrofoam cups. With the recent news of George retiring/closing shop and not choosing to continue on the legacy with his son or other family, it just feels like a punch in the gut. Chains don't feel the same as a family business. They're not a lot of mom-n-pops left.. La Cañada has lost a local legend (everybody knows Georgee's), and I'm sure I won't be the first to share the heartache. Enjoy the well-deserved retirement George! I'll miss you guys.

Sadly, according to their website, Georgee's has closed for good... They say Fresh Brothers pizza is moving in. I'll give them a chance, but I will miss the sausage/meatball parm sandwiches... nobody makes them anymore. Even Jersey Mike's struck theirs from the menu... RIP Georgee's...

As a New Yorker living in LA, I’m always on the hunt for delicious pizza and I have found it at Georgee’s in La Canada! The pepperoni is always a hit but if you want a really amazing pizza, go for the Buffalo Chicken Pizza! You definitely won’t he disappointed! It’s very close to NYC Pizza and I’ll definitely keep coming back for more!

I love this place. I usually order a sub sandwich. I did this last time as well. The bread used for this sandwich was different than the bread I usually get. It was okay but not as good as the old type. I hope they get the old type of bread back.
