This bakery is located inside a supermarket towards the left hand side. Their pastries look beautiful, and those remind me of French pastries. Cashier was friendly, and she recommended popular items for us to try. I ordered almond croissant and americano. The americano is decent, and no sour after taste, which is what I like. Almond croissant tasted amazing. The pastry was crispy and fluffy. It was not too sweet that perfect for me. The pastries might be a little pricy, but the portion is pretty big. It is worth it to me. I will be back to try more different pastries.

Amazing service by Matt! We sat and enjoyed a perfect almond croissant that he kindly cut in half for us and two delicious flat whites. I've been here hundreds of times over the years, but I was especially impressed today to write this review.

This place is wonderful. Their coffee and drinks are fantastic, you can actually taste what they put inside of it. The desserts are fabulous, some of the best macarons and croissants around this area. Wish they offered delivery as well, but definitely worth the visit if you are nearby!

Best croissants in LA! I come every week for their croissants and tarts. I wish they also made cakes.

Service is great. I called at 4:30pm and asked if they had their "glossy" chocolate cake - my friend had brought it before & it was delish. Just didn't know what it was called. The man who helped me said it's chocolate decadence & he had it ready for me to pick it up 45 mins later for a birthday dinner. He put a chocolate bar that had happy birthday on it. Cake was delicious, maybe a little too sweet but everyone loved it!

Sweet kids work hard to serve the customers. They are polite and courteous. Give them raises! The pastries look heavenly. The coffee, which I am sipping right now, is on point. There are cafe tables to people watch the Gelsons shoppers, and the store has wifi if you want to bring a laptop to work as you hang out. It’s super pleasant!

We desserts for a pre-birthday celebration and saw such wonderful review for Renaud's. It's inside Gelsons at their bakery counter which was handy. Parking was easy, the server was great and taped each of the three desserts to the inside of the box so that they didn't slide. Each dessert was $7, I got the apple tart, lemon meringue tart and the raspberry tart. My favorite was the lemon, although the raspberries were fresh and plump. Definitely something to keep in my back pocket for future. They also serve a small, medium and large size of these desserts.

I love their macarons! Also, their cheesecake wasn't too sweet. Just the right amount of sweetness.

First of all, it was not advertised as being inside of Gelsons. Now I’m not sure if the bakery owner is a small business or if it’s under the supermarket, but the pastries leave much to be desired. The macarons tasted like they’ve been sitting in a musty fridge, and the tarts as well! The chocolate did not taste fresh, nor did the pastries! Also, I went a couple of hours before their closing about dinner time, and he was already shutting down and turning lights off! I asked for a cup of ice, and he didn’t even bother to top it off, that’s after spending 10 dollars on 2 macarons and 1 tart! I’m not sure if I’d recommend, might give it a try again, might now. I’m not sure.

So it's inside the gelsons. I guess it wasn't so obvious. So the ambinece was 1 out of 5. The service was good, 4 out of 5. I ordered an oatmilk latte and a croissant. The croissant was served cold and wasn't the best. The latte was ok. I don't understand the 5 star reviews, this is mediocre at best.

I brought their Chocolate Hazelnut cake for my Birthday and everyone was asking me about the place. I also, get their chocolate and almond croissant, it was so delicious that I could drive just to buy that. Their macaroons are so tasty too.

The pastry and patisserie was always a good quality but I cannot recommend the coffee at all! I ordered a big Café latte and basically got a cup of boiling hot milk. Zero milkfoam (because too hot) and only traces of coffee in it. Most shocking though: When I brought the cup of hot milk back and complained about it, they wouldn’t even give me my money back but just handed me a card with a phone number on it!Very disappointing coffee and a complete lack of customer service! ?‍♀️
