So sad to hear this place has closed. I ordered takeout three times from this place shortly before this happened and I'm going to miss the original whole fried chicken. It was basically what The Prince in Ktown made back in the day: crispy thin skin, juicy meat, great for either eating alone or dipping in sauces. And it was amazing with beer. I haven't found anything else on Foothill that compares, and I've tried them all.

Great chicken, one of the best k chicken places around. Favorite is the garlic fried chicken. Also great service, very friendly, the only drawback is it gets very crowded on weekends.

Amazing chicken!!! I love the quality of the meat and the flavors are unbeatable. We've been customers for a while and have never been disappointed. Keep up the great work guys!

If I could leave a 0 star I would. I was happy to find out there was one close to me since my daughter and I love the one in Northridge. We know the wait takes some time so we planned accordingly and ordered with enough time through door dash. An hour goes by and the food isn't ready, now an hour and a half with second driver arriving....nothing. Call to find out why the food isn't ready and was told they don't fill Doordash orders unless they don't have any business. Makes no sense for a business to offer its services on Doordarshan if they don't wish to fulfill those orders. They also sold me id have to wait another 2:30 hours after already waiting 1:30 if I wish to continue with the order....wth?

We stopped in to have drinks and dinner. Was excited to try their tteokbokki, but tteok was soggy and squishy, no chewiness to it, was overcooked. It would also be nice if they kept some lemons on hand, with soju on the menu.

Strictly average food and service befitting of this foothill community where good restaurants are typically at least 30 mins away. TheY have Korean style fried chicken. Even the name is funny as the word Furai sounds like badly pronounced "fried" chicken by a native Korean speaking person.... at least that what I'm told. The prerequisite stuff are here. Various fried chicken dishes with spicy sauces, garlic based sauces and traditional non sauced items. They also carry some Izakaya or trattoria style foods that go well with beer drinking. E.g. dduckboki or fish cake soup and such. However the taste is just average. Nothing great nor bad. Just very much meh no matter the item chosen. The service is below par as they don't have enough servers working the tables and the AC runs too weak leaving your arse in a puddle of sweat after drinking and eating for a while on a hot day.

I recently went to Furai Chicken and my god the chickens were so crispy. This is.. hands down the best korean chicken place I ever had in the US. That's saying a lot since I'm a korean fried chicken fanatic and I know what's good when it comes to these chicken. I see people wrote reviews here, mostly about their orders going wrong. Unfortunate but I had a fantastic experience all around. Definitely recommend!!!! If I had one thing to comment about this the flaw is that it is sometimes too sweet. If they can cut off on the sweetness I think it will be flawless

This was literally some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life. The people who work there are super friendly. Plus they have good beers!

Went here for the 2nd time to give it a chance. Same experience as before, extremely slow service. The server informed us that the chef is very busy so he/she cant make a side that was listed as an option in the menu. She also felt the need to tell us TWICE that she won't charge us for a side that the chef was too busy to make/prepare. This establishment needs to hire more workers so they can accomodate their patrons. Food is good, but there will always be another place with better food and customer service.

I really enjoy all the chicken ive tried here. It's super crispy and delicious the customer service is always great. You can get the sauces to go incase you want to reheat it in the toaster oven.

Furai Chicken in La Crescenta was not a bad experience but also not a good one. I got the Furai Chicken Sandwich, which came with some coleslaw and a side of fries (I got the fries seasoned with garlic parmesan). The quality of the sandwich was pretty decent, although a bit more greasy than expected. The fries, unfortunately, were a major let down as they were soggy and not fully fried. My brother got the Sweet Potato Fries Korean styled and those were exceptionally good. For the price and quality, Furai Chicken is good enough for a midday lunch for locals, but if you're visiting from out of town or are looking for a nice sit down with great food, I'd pass on this place.

My new favorite fried chicken place! They are reasonably priced and good quality food! The radish that comes with their fried chicken is also pretty good.

Maybe I'm weird, however, I hope owners are reading this: I've ordered Soy Garlic and Sweet & Spicy chicken, oh my gosh! The chicken was full of honey, the only thing you feel was honey! Why soy garlic has to have so much sweet in it??? Still gave you 4 stars because my little one really liked it since she likes sweets. I wish it was not THAT sweet.
