I've been purchasing cakes from higo bakery for a couple of years now. To this day I can say, I have no complaints and their cakes and pastries are worth every cent. Higos bakery has become my go to bakery for every birthday and special occasion. The workers are definitely very helpful and friendly, cater to my very request. I am a very happy customer.

The custom birthday cake we ordered for mom was perfect! The funfetti cake with buttercream frosting and white chocolate drizzle was amazing. Mom loved it and so did we. Will definitely be ordering more cakes in the future.

I ordered $95 custom cake and was highly disappointed. This cake is for a 22 year, but the lady recommended these colors. I called to see if they would be willing to give me any kind of credit or money back, but they said no. I was hoping they would be willing to work with me since I've ordered a cake here and loved it. On a positive note, if you guys are looking for somewhere to go, Northgate is right down the street and gave me a beautiful cake on the spot for $23, they definitely saved the day!

Wow wow wow thank you yelpers for helping me find this place. Had to organize a kids birthday party and had to get a cake that can accommodate vegan and gluten-free folks. I thought my fate would be driving out to DTLA to get the vegan stuff but you guys helped me find a bakery that can make these cakes in the sgv/oc border. Just reading reviews and finding out online that they're Japanese Peruvian was already a cool selling point so I just ordered the cakes without trying them out. Got the peruvian chocolate cake and the strawberry souffle (vegan and gluten-free). Both amazing and many adults tried both flavors cuz they were wowed. This place is a hidden gem out in the East. Wow La Habra you are so lucky to have this establishment. I am happy to know of a bakery that can make fantastic goods for different palates east of LA . Support them!

Ordered simple vanilla cupcakes with strawberry frosting for my daughters birthday party. The ordering process was simple and all through yelp messaging. My order was ready at my pick up time and I had no complaints. They were moist and flavorful and the frosting was light and wasn't too sweet. They looked great, tasted yummy and referred my guests to Higo Bakery!

Ok. Drop everything and go order a cake from them right now. Huge fan of Higo Sushi, so I wanted to try the bakery for the first time. I went in person to ask about their cakes and everything looked so good! I decided on the Peruvian chocolate cake but asked for a custom design. You can email them to place a custom order. They will require a 50% deposit for the cake that you want, you can then pick it up on the day you specify. The process was so simple and so easy to order a custom cake! I prefer asian style cakes which are super light and not excruciatingly sweet. This cake had a perfect sweetness to it and the cream was light and airy. The cake itself was moist and fluffy. The macarons on top were also perfectly made. The cake turned out so pretty and was a big hit! I'm about to go place another order for next week.
Just bought a vegan cake here the first time and it was a hit with our family party! We bought the 8" cake and it was pretty thick slice since it was 3 layers. Not sure if 3 layers is their standard for that cake size but it could have been 2 layers. Anyways will probably come here again on another special occasion. The staff was nice and let us know we need to book our order as few days in advance for custom cakes. Otherwise they sometimes have some already made cakes for you to pick up.

Higo Bakery is such a hidden gem and I'm so glad to have discovered it. I contacted them on a Friday requesting a cake for pickup on Sunday and they were able to accommodate it within a short period of time! We ordered the dairy and gluten-free Strawberry Soufflé cake and it did not disappoint!!! We couldn't even tell that it didn't have flour or real milk in it because it was so good . The cake was fluffy, the cream was perfectly sweet (aka not-too-sweet for anyone looking to impress their Asian parent), and the strawberries were fresh. It's safe to say that we've found our go-to bakery and cake for a lot of our family birthdays moving forward. 1000/10 would recommend and will most definitely be back, especially to try their empanadas!

I placed an order of 2 dozen cupcakes and a small 6" cake for my daughter's Winter Wonderland birthday party. I received SO many compliments about how pretty the cake was and how delicious the cupcakes were. In fact, one of the partygoers went straight to the bakery to get more goodies after she left the party. I'm glad they're close to me because they are my new "go-to" bakery for every occasion!

I got these alfajores as present from hubby... and let me tell you OMG they are SO delicious! I downed a box of 12 in no time... SO delicious! The delche de leche was not overly sweet and has a very nice flavory... nice and creamy! : ) They are bite sized so you won't feel like overeating! For $7.50 you get a dozen and $15 you get 25. I was told the people were very friendly and the bakery was very clean. Good vibes! If you are craving some delicious treats! I highly recommend Higo bakery's alfajores!!!
