This used to be my go-to place for good Peruvian food. I was very disappointed this time around. I order a saltado de camarón and a saltado de lomo. Both of them were overcooked. There were some small overcooked shrimp that were kind of hard to find ( I almost called to let them know they forgot to add the shrimp) 2 tiny pieces of overcooked mushy tomato and very dry overcooked fries. Same story with the lomo, paper-thin slices of overcooked meat. All around the food was just not good. That is very sad since I used to come a lot and used to recommend the place to friends and family. After this, I probably won't be going back. Not sure if they change owners or cooks but the food quality is not what it used to be.

This place makes such delicious Peruvian food. I order from here on an almost weekly basis. I've ordered The lomo saltado de carne, tallerin saltado de carne, arroz chaufa de carne, arroz chaufa de pollo, and arroz chaufa de marisco. I have enjoyed all of these dishes. I either order the lunch special or a la carte. It all depends on how much food I want. What can I say? Good food is good food. And the price and portions are reasonable. I highly recommend you come here if you want to enjoy good Peruvian food. Oh, and they make it to-order, so the food is always hot and fresh. You never have to wait more than 10 to 15 minutes for your order, even when they're busy.

Man!! This placed delivered! We used to drive to Covina to Mr. Pollo, but were we surprised by this gem of a place. We only tried the Lomo Saltado. It was sooo delicious! The spicy green sauce took it to another level. Can't wait to come back to try the Tallarín! The service was great. The young man serving and taking orders at the counter was nice and attentive. The place itself is clean and simple. Definitely coming back and recommending to family and friends. No picture included bc we ate our food super fast. It was that good!

The chaufa came out perfectly with good portion of chicken chunks and fluffy eggs. Of course it's best with the spicy aji sauce. Nice kick. Ingredients well integrated. Dinner portions are shareable. Price will seem high. Best to share.

Don’t order here for delivery. Majority of the order came out acceptable, the food was mediocre at best.HOWEVER! Their Bistec Apanado, was absolutely tragic. What I got was breaded beef jerky at best. 10/10 WOULD NOT recommend. This is not worth $15.95

This has become one of my favorite restaurants to Doordash and go to. The Bistec el Pobre is great as well as the fried race and plantains. The people are very nice and I think I am in love withe a Peruvian sauce- it makes my eyes water and clears my sinuses which are both a great sign.
