Ordered through DoorDash, got the BBQ mix with beef and chicken, two sides of mac, and rice. Was really tasty and worth it for the price. It ended up being about two meals for me. Didn't interact with staff/ restaurant to comment.

Food was fine. Make sure to validate your parking ticket here if you park in the lot.

Great food. Portion sizes are large enough where you actually get full before finishing - a rarity in this day and age of skimpy portion sizes. Chicken Katsu plate is the best.

When does L&L disappoint? This was bomb and the staff is so nice. Got the mini bbq chicken which was plenty of food and it was delish!! Great little center for eating and chatting!

Really greasy katsu, missing shrimp dish. Overly sweet sauce. Oily taste, had to throw it out!

18$ for Garlic Shrimp Salad (lunch) -- I will definitely come back for this meal! I was working at the hospital across the street and walked here looking for a quick lunch that was decently priced. I was pleasantly surprised to find huge juicy garlic shrimp (well cooked and not dry, AND deveined), along with a fresh salad that had some fresh pineapple and grilled onions in there. Yum! I could tell this was a family owned location with the two main workers as husband and wife. They were super sweet. There are a bunch of tables that you can sit inside or outside. I chose to sit outside and questioned why I don't live in San Diego? Haha. All in all, if you're looking for a healthy choice --get the garlic shrimp salad and sub with salad :)

Large size BBQ with rice. Ideal for the hungry. Price goes up sharply after COVID. $17 for a regular plate after tax. Friendly reminder: do not order anything with chicken katsu, as unremoved feathers on the skin of

Pretty good food overall. There wasn't quite enough sauce or juiciness to the bbq chicken for me, but it was still delicious. Onion rings were a bit cold but that could be due to the delivery driver not them. They did cancel and refund my drink after I has placed the order, which was disappointing. Not sure if they were out of boba or if they just don't serve milk teas anymore.

Food 5/5 Chicken katsu is my go-to comfort food order at L&L. I like to switch between 2 scoops rice + 1 scoop Mac vs 1 scoop rice + 2 scoops Mac. The food was hot and the katsu was crispy! Service 5/5 The kind elderly Asian man who I think is the manager made sure I had utensils and sauces for my food. Ambiance 5/5 The seating area was not super crowded when I went in and there was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I recommend going here if you need something easy and fast. You can call in your order ahead of time. Price 4/5 Compared to the prices of all surrounding restaurants, this is worth the money. I enjoyed my katsu plate which I split into two meals since it was such a large portion! Giving this 4 stars instead of 5 since the price is a bit higher here compared to other L&Ls I've been to before.

mind you i went christmas eve night looking at the list of food options available around us, but food was ready within 7 mins and they had it ready for me. I just wish there was more sauce on my BBQ beef and that I asked for extra to take. Katsu was juicy and well cooked. The portions are large so we had leftovers of both.Parking is tricky as you need to technically go into the lot next to it, but I just parked on the curb outside to quickly run in.
