Hands down my favorite restaurant in San Diego. We've been five or six times and never been disappointed. Incredible aesthetic, excellent drinks and just delicious food. This current spring menu has a burrata dish that's phenomenal (sounds impossible but trust me. The strawberries are smokey and it's so good you might cry).

Very nice place and atmosphere, however, they are stingy on the food portion for the price they charge. And I’m from Europe so I’m used to small portion but this feels like a robbery.

Superb place. The mood is casual elegant. The waiters are professional and attentive. The wine list impressive, and the food is spectacular. I warmly recommend the prawns, but we had a number of servings to share and every last one was sublime. 5 star review. I can only say: gobtry it out, you will not be disappointed

We had two pasta dishes that were extremely over salted. We asked the waitress if they serve bread, and she said yes, I can get you some bread. I was then charged $11 for a bottle of bread.

We were given a gift card and we're expecting a fabulous restaurant. Ambiance and decor were beautiful. Very trendy place but food and service were very mediocre. My husband had the duck pasta and Caesar salad which were both delicious. I had the beet salad and eggplant pasta. Both were nothing special. Our server was efficient but never smiled.
I have been to Marisi 5 times in the last two months. It's my favorite restaurant in La Jolla! The cocktails are amazing, especially the apricot old fashioned!!! The appetizers are delightful-the Prawns are my favorite! The pasta's are all excellent. Even though it's an italian place, the porterhouse is one of the best steaks in town; worth the price in my opinion. Love all the staff as well! See y'all again soon!
Great location and beautiful vibe. The menu was limited and not very creative. Best dish was the bbq shrimp small plate. Worst was the pasta with duck. Flavors were nice but the pasta was chewy and thick. However lovely service from Gavin.
The restaurant is stunning, especially the outdoor patio. Our waitstaff was exceptional with service levels, wine and food recommendations as well as the bar staff. Will definitely go back.

We enjoyed a romantic dinner at Marisa. Everything was spectacular, especially the food. We were super pleased with the ability to have an authentic Italian meal with handmade gluten free pasta. We are excited to return next time we are in town!
Decor and ambience are wonderful. Cocktails took forever to receive even after asking and overall service was slow. Food was just ok. Pickled vegetables were good, but nothing extraordinary. Rigatoni was just ok. Pasta and sauce were fresh, but the dish lacked something and wasn't worth $30. Cavatelli ragu had better flavor, but also was missing something at $34. Would probably not return with all the other choices in La Jolla.

Marisi is always a great choice for dining. The service is impeccable, the food is outstanding, the beverage specialty cocktail lineup and wine list are out of this world and the restaurant is gorgeous. You will love it!?

Wanted to check out the restaurant because it looked so pretty. Came super early like 4:45 for early dinner with two little kids, the whole restaurant was empty and the hostess told us they could not accommodate us for a quick dinner .. I’ve never seen such rudeness, what business would turn away 5 people for dinner when it’s empty. Won't be going back
