I'm a local and frequent NT. This was a big March Madness night so the place was packed and lively. We still got a 6:30 table and the servers were attentive and fun. Food came out fast & hot. Everything was as advertised. Priced right too. Love the place and will be back.

This is a great Tavern! My husband and I stayed around the corner on our honeymoon and came to the Tavern everyday! Athena was our server I apologize if I spelt your name wrong. You invited us to your Christmas party and we had a blast just a day after our wedding. Thank you for our memories and the Philly cheese steak was the best we had! Please ask for Athena she make the best drinks! Thank you for our margaritas on the beach. We will definitely be returning on our next adventure! Thank you for your hospitality

I decided to drop by this place to pass the time by the beach. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Despite only ordering a couple of waters and some delicious tots, the waitress still appeared genuinely pleased to have me there. I spent my time doing a crossword puzzle, enjoying the beautiful weather, and listening to the Rufus du Sol Pandora playlist they had playing. It was an overall fantastic experience! Whether you're interested in grabbing drinks, hanging out for a bit, or both, I highly recommend this spot near Windansea.

Half good half miss is the overall takeaway...Problem is the half miss is the meat!Chicken piccata sauce had great deep flavor and perfect piece of garlic bread, good pasta portion as well...I even sucked those lemons (awkward)BUT THE CHICKEN was grilled and cut in strips belonging on a salad, not a proper piccata at all...and don't cut my goddam chicken...! Also one small breast vs two is kind of ripoffThe buffalo wings were ok, flavor was basic and 3 of them were little chewy. The blue cheese was good though, like when they add the chunks, makes me more forgiving.Idk on this one lol. Would crave the piccata if the chicken was done right.

If you like sports - this os not the place for you.On a Thursday night, with - count em - 14 people in the entire place, watching the MLB playoffs and score is tied with bases loaded, two outs....This genius "manager" changes the station!!No announcement. No "are you watching this?".I spent MONEY to be here and watch the game. I protest, hey why dod you turn that off wirh no botice or asking?? I get told "more people like football than baseball "There are 13 televisions and three games on.Like I said, "if you like sports, or respect for the customer, this is not the place for you (or me) ."Go to Duck Dive or JRDN or The Local or The Shack or The Spot and get much more respect as a customer.

I had the most delicious fried mahi mahi taco at this fun sports bar. The staff were friendly and attentive. The crowd was relaxed but cheering on their beloved Padres. A great place to hang out, have dinner and kick it with friends.

Slightly underdone wings and a surf and turf burger that felt like every ingredient had the flavor sucked out of it before it was put together. It's not that anything was bad. It's that nothing felt like anyone cared about it. The service was good. The environment was relaxed.
