Super cute cafe. Glad I found it. It's got a coffee menu and a few food options. I got really good avocado toast. There is a decent amount of seating but it does seem busy so I had to wait for a spot. But it's a great view and the service is friendly.

As much as I enjoyed Pinpoint, it’s very out of the way and not easy to get to. Parking is in the street and then a walk, which is fine. I got the açaí bowl, not my favorite one, but solid enough. Great chill feel, but in my opinion, not worth going out go out of the way for. Definitely great for the employees who are already here. If you don’t work here you can skip it. They have other locations.

It’s a nice stop on the way to the beach. Wish they stayed open later and had more kid-friendly options.

The selling pint for Pinpoint Cafe is the view! It's located on UCSD's campus, a little ways up from Scripps pier. There really isn't accessible parking nearby so be prepared to walk. The coffee and food here is honestly on the average side. They have some simple foods like acai bowls, breakfast burritos etc. That being said, the view is fantastic so it's worth checking out on its own!

Beautiful, small cafe on UCSD's campus. Parking is street parallel parking, with a one hour limit. Perfect time to grab a bite and do some work while enjoying the view. I saw the line get a bit busy, but I came and had no trouble finding a good seat at 8am and noise never was an issue. Used my laptop and the free wifi to get some work done, watched the waves, saw some pups, and left before I stayed too long. Would definitely come back!Parking: 1 hour time limit on street parking

The place is great cause you can see the ocean. The coffee was ok but hard to find parking since is inside a university or school.

This is a small and somewhat hidden cafe that boasts bigger-than-life views! You feel like you are in a hidden forest with a distant yet dazzling view of the ocean. The atmosphere is very relaxed with many coming here to study or read.

First new coffee shop to try starting the new year! I found on Yelp I wanted a shop with beach views and good coffee! It is located behind UCSD tucked away in a corner. PARKING is the only con ! It was recommended to park on the street since everything is permit parking. It is a small walk, my husband dropped me off to order while he parked. This shop has the most beautiful views , it was packed for a Tuesday around noon! I waited about 15 minutes to order there was about 5 people ahead of me. There are about 8 tables and extra chairs on the edge all full , but I was able to snag a chair . As people finish their drinks and food tables become available . Coffee- I tried the iced vanilla latte with almond milk and my husband tried the chai latte , both were 10/10! We also tried the smoked salmon toast my husband mentioned it was a little salty for him but he still devoured it(7/10). We will definitely be back when in the area , it really is so calming as you look over the ocean and enjoy the views and coffee . The service was also great ! My coffee order was out pretty fast! Highly recommend !

Decent coffee shop with breathtaking view. Husband and I enjoy it very much. We got a hot chocolate, an iced white mocha and the G.O.A.T for $20. Friendly customer services.

Pinpoint cafe has delicious food; açaí bowls, breakfast burritos, sandwiches... all with a hidden jem of of a cafe in a business park. We walk over a few buildings a few times a month.
