I don’t understand why this place has such low stars- this is really good thai food! They had calamari option for noodles, which tasted so good, can’t get that at many other places. Service was good and fast, this place should have more stars.

It will be hard to compare thai food from the DMV area (DC MD VA) east coast, after having thai food at this restaurant. I had the boat soup and it was phenomenal with a heat level of 7. My family and friends enjoyed their food as well. Everything was delicious as we tasted each other's dishes. The Massaman curry was very, very good! Special compliments to the chef and staff/service. View of the water good, and ample seating avail both indoors and outdoors. Maybe one day we will be back and definitely will go there again!

Authentic Thai food. So delicious it will make your crave for more, definitely one hidden gem in this area where I should comer back and try the rest of the menu. Dishes are big and prices are fair.

Cute place close to the La Jolla caves. I had a great chicken dish which was on the lunch menu a lot of seating, and a bike rack close to the restaurant for cyclers. Dream was my server and was very polite and attentive. Give it a try.

Aroi Thai is our favorite Sunday day date spot for Thai food. The food is so good, best Penang Curry with chicken in the county, and a perfect 8 temp. But the service on Sunday afternoon is outstanding. Our waitress makes this thai experience very special. We love this nice casual restaurant.

My friend and I shared the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and the pad see ew with shrimp. The pineapple fried rice was just okay, it came out a little cold so that was disappointing. Personally, the pineapple chunks weren't as soft as I would think they would be and they were also a bit large, but maybe I'm just being picky lol. They also had a hint of the taste of beer but I could be wrong. The pad see ew was very rich in flavor and a little on the sweet side. The shrimp in both dishes were cooked well. The orange slices were also really good. The service was good, our waitress was very sweet and attentive.

Their pork belly was to die for. This dish was the star of the entire restaurant in my eyes. Flavor was on point. The entire trip after this, I wanted to go back but we were on time constraints. It reminded me so much of my grandmothers dish from my childhood. They forgot bean sprouts in my pad Thai, I was upset about that, and the flavor was okay. The fried rice was really good.

Had take out. Not great. Not bad. Expensive for what you get but this is La Jolla and I'm sure their rent is a fortune. Location seems to be sort of cursed, lots of places have come and gone over the last 25 years. Bangkok Bay in Solana Beach is my local fave.
