Do you like not spending an arm and a leg for a meal in and around San Diego. If you’re like me then you need some BMH in your life!!!Had the Baja Spice today!As always on the Portnoy Scale of Sangweech I dub the Baja Spice a solid 8.3 !!!Literally everything I needed in my life today!!! Unfortunately I neglected to take a pic of the Sando. Luckily I’ll be back soon!Amazing experience like always!

Sandwiches were very good and large. At a very fair price. What more could you ask for?Parking: Parking is perfectly available as long as the place isn't too busy. It's just kind of weird.

Underrated gem. Amazing fresh sandwiches with a bit of chutzpah and character on the side. They have a "yesterday's bread" table sometimes with bags of day-old rolls on the cheap.

My parents took me here in the 80's when it was called Mama Lina's. 40 years later and I'm still picking up delicious sandwiches, frozen meals, olive oil, mozzarella cheese, and that sauce! Get a bottle of "Mama's Sauce." You will not be disappointed.
Good Sandwiches! I think they bake the Italian bread there. The love juice they put on the sandwiches is delicious. They are satisfying but I notice they are a bit light on meat in my experience. Prices are reasonable. The meat to bread ratio is off a little, but still they make a great tasting sandwich. It's a small unassuming place a mom and pop shop. I recommend it.

Went there for the first time yesterday and got a Turkey and cheddar sandwich and was pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was! Their Italian dressing on the sandwich was surprisingly delicious! Very fresh bread and was also surprised to learn that they have a full dinner menu and even Italian dishes to go that you can just pop in the oven! LOVE this place and I will be goi g back today to try another one of their sandwiches. YUM!

Food: Incredible Italian Bread ready to be topped with a variety of meats to include house made meatballs and some legit Italian sausage. We took a pound of the meatballs and sausage plus a quart of their fresh marinara sauce. We brought it home simmering all this together for a few hours and then put together some meatball subs. Service: Almost as good as the food. Pleasantly engaging staff. No rushed service just a warm smile accompanied by useful suggestions. Ambience: what one would expect from an institution that's been around more than a fee decades. I didn't order a premade heat and eat dinner but from what I saw they looked tasty! I couldn't suggest a place more highly. Support our locally owned and operated businesses! You won't be disappointed.
