Food was disgusting. Tasted like one of the microwave steamer meals you get from the grocery store. Price was expensive for what we got. Other ratings are from people that don't know what authentic food really tastes like. Next time I'll travel a bit further to Convoy.

Picked up. Food was NOT good. Will never return. Must have changed ownership as food used to be very good. All had upset stomachs.

Raised my review as I keep going back! This place makes fantastic food and the people are nice. If you want great, quality chinese food, this is your place to go! I always order the mock chicken in all the dishes and it is so delicious! My spouse orders the regular (real chicken) dishes and he loves them. Their hot tea is good too...not crazy about the appetizers, but the main dishes are just fantastic. Most dishes range from $16-$18 and well worth it. Go try them out!

Lunch specials are a bit misleading as their soups are included in them but not if you get the special to go. +$5 to upgrade from regular rice to fried rice on an already $16+ special...

I wish I would've ordered more! I had dim sum and you know how delicious that can go! I need to go back and have another go at it. If you're trying local dim sum, go further than chopsticks in La Mesa! I went crazy on those sweet egg bun! Delicious. What is great however, I felt that was in a library scared to raise my voice lol! My kids felt like they had to be on their best behavior! But they enjoy the food that's all that matters!

I keep trying their dim sum because they are the only restaurant close to me with dim sum but it's just not good at all. The rest of their Chinese food is very good but I don't know why they can't make decent dim sum. The sticky rice is dry and the wrappers from the dumplings are always cracked and falling off before I even get a bite. I would recommend the Chinese food but don't get the dim sum.

BEST PORK BUNS EVER! They are like beautiful fluffy clouds filled with delicious bbq pork. I also love that the moo shiu has "scrabbled" eggs very delicious and glad it's just down the street!

I have been a fan of Chopsticks for over twenty years ! When I have a craving for Japanese food I head to Chopsticks on Convo. Love the menu and have tried most everything but love the Ramen, Udon, Dons, Curries, Sushi, Tempura.... It's casual, clean ,easy parking and generally quick good service.
