El Compadre Taco Shop is an unassuming neighborhood, sit-down, and drive-through taco shop. FOOD4.5/5 carnitas burrito, $9.75: A burrito loaded with guacamole and pre-made flavorful tender carnitas (with some chunks of untrimmed fat included) wrapped in a freshly made tortilla. Lots of drippings were leaking through, but I didn't mind it too much as it adds flavor. The red salsa is spicy, and the green salsa is mildly spicy and acidic.PARKINGPlenty of spots in the lot
A long over due review. I've been going to this place for over 5 years. Each time is nearly always through the drive through. Regardless of the time of day the employees are always friendly. They always have a home feel to them. The food is always fantastic to their burritos to the chimichangas . It is easy to customize your orders asking for no pico or to add rice ect they never have an issue to it. Food is fast but not great, at least not the burrito I usually get, while it is convenient—it’s also really overpriced and the portions aren’t even that large. For a place with such a convenient location they sure do get greedy without offering something of equal value in return.
