Patronized this business on St. Patrick's Day weekend. I knew it would be busy and crowded, but the wait time from ordering the food until hopefully getting the food was inexcusable. This restaurant had the whole year to prepare and get plenty of staff in place for their "Super Bowl" of a weekend. And yet, after ordering and asking when our food was coming, we are told the kitchen is slammed. It's not the fault of our waitress, but certainly an upper management issue. Ended up leaving after waiting over an hour snd and a half snd still no food.

They doubled their prices for St. Patrick’s day. It’s ridiculous!!!! A coots lite costs $10.00!!!!

Second time coming. First time was nice a few years ago. Actually enjoyed myself. Fast forward, this time on St. Patrick's Day weekend. Feeling seemed off. Maybe they were waiting for tonight or tomorrow. Had to wait in to order a drink. Was put off by bartender who filled half the beer, then walked away to help other customers. Then another bartender saw me then finished filling my beer and took a long time to use a register. Maybe because I was one of 3 that weren't Caucasian in the establishment! Bad vibe this time. Ended up leaving with friend to eat elsewhere.

I've been coming here for years. There are so many items on the menu that do NOT disappoint! The stuffed potato skin appetizers, the bread pudding dessert, the red cabbage, the boxtys, the mac n' cheese, ANYTHING with corned beef! I'm always so happy in my belly with Hooley's to eat. My experience with service and atmosphere has generally been a mixed bag. The quiet dining area is pretty boring, so I tend to prefer the bar area (still have regular tables, not strictly bar-seating) for smaller groups.Parking: The restaurant is very much situated within Grossmont Mall, so there is a lot of parking. It's far enough from the general shopping area that even during busy shopping times, I always get a spot close.

I was there for a sponsorship Irish music session. We played for a couple hours. The staff checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything.

The bratwurst had a kick to it a little too spicy for me. I expected cheesy eggs to have. He's mixed with the eggs , not just melted on
