We had the La Mesa omelet or the one with bacon and avocado. Country Benedict, Greek salad with chicken, and the Spinach croissant.

We ordered LBC for a show at the San Diego Convention Center and had just the most amazing experience!! The whole team was great, they were prompt, professional and kind from the moment I reached out to the final invoice.We fed over 300 people and had rave reviews from everyone! We had one person declare that the spinach salad was one of the best salads she's had in her life! Thank you again for everything! If we come back to town, NO QUESTION on where we get out catering from!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this spot yet! I've been coming to Lunch Box for years. Both breakfast and lunch are delicious and they have great specials. I usually order the eggs, potatoes, and sausage for breakfast, but their other options are really good, too. For lunch, they usually offer a good lunch specials. Today's was a roast beef and Ortega chili melt with a cup of soup (potato ham). All their lunches come with a bag of chips and cookie. They offer daily soups that are delicious and fresh baked goods. My favorite is the pumpkin muffin. The service is great. They have a lot of ladies who have been there long enough to know the regulars. There is ample seating and the parking lot if big enough. If you are in the La Mesa area check them out. I think you'll enjoy it!

This little restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. It's a Mom and Pop type eatery. The place is clean, service is excellent and the food is double delicious. This is a great place to eat if you like comfort food. There is both indoor and patio dining.Vegetarian options: This restaurant has a good selection of assorted salads.Kid-friendliness: This is a good family friendly place.Wheelchair accessibility: The inside area is somewhat small and might be a bit tight for a wheelchair. However, there's plenty of room in the patio.
The best deli in La Mesa. I've been going here for years and it does not disappoint. Breakfast is excellent and a great value. Sandwiches are very tasty. I recently placed a large order for my company and the employees nailed it. Everything was prepared perfectly just as I had ordered. I highly recommend this deli. The employees are extremely friendly and the owner even went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of.

If you're looking for excellent food at a excellent price then this is the place for you. You walk in seat yourself, and will be greeted by friendly employees. We hadn't been here before and there is so much on the menu to choose from, our waitress was very helpful with the decision making.
