Stay far away from this red lobster. Ordered 3 simple items from them online and they delivered barely 2 of them. They marked all 3 off on their receipt they gave me, yet I only got 2, very sad, very cold, very disgusting items. Do NOT eat here, whether it be delivery, take out, or dine in.Edit: Seems they're "temporarily closed". Not surprising.

This was my birthday celebration with a long-term friend! I wanted today to be special, and my favorite place did not disappoint me.We each started with a glass of red wine sangria. They had a photographer going around taking a complimentary photo with options to purchase 2 framed ones for $15 each.We ordered our food, which was perfect as usual. We each took half home because the platter was too much for 1 meal. They even gave us a complimentary "birthday" ice cream sundae for dessert (with 2 spoons)!I highly recommend Red Lobster when dining alone, with a guest, or bringing a group for a business or partying occasion. Bon Appétit ?

I'm sure it was partially because it was the Father's Day rush, but had a terrible experience. Regardless of having reservations, we had to wait over 45 minutes, and waited an additional hour before any food showing up. Just felt like an evening of endless waiting. Felt bad for my two kids as they were starving. We chose this place because it's just down the street, but wont be coming back. Our server himself was really nice and we could tell he was doing his best, but it's obvious management has issues.

Not what it used to be but priced at a premium. That summarizes the experience. The bread used to be the top attraction, and now it's salty, over seasoned, and you have to chase servers to get it. They had a 10-15 minute wait, and it was pretty empty inside. The bacon Mac & Cheese was absolutely terrible, and it was $5+ when I substituted my fries (which I wasn't told a it'd be that much or that bad). My kid's fish was stiff and chewy, definitely not ideal for a toddler. Honestly, I don't see myself going back.

SIGNED UP FOR PREFERRED SEATING, BUT THE HOSTESS DIDN'T HAVE A TABLE FOR OUR 5. PLACE A CHAIR AT BOOTH. WE DID SEE SEVERAL TABLES SEATING SIX PATRONS. BE PREPARED, RESERVE FOR 6. SERVICE WAS QUICK AND THE ORDERS ACCURATE TASTY. SERVER WAS PERSONABLE AND EFFICIENT.

Service was impeccable, Hayden was our server. There was a wait time and he made it worth the wait. He's very knowledgeable about the menu and let us know what wasn't available before we ordered. We really appreciated that! He was very busy with his tables and still made time for us. Thanks for the great experience!

La Mesa Ca location party of 3 April 21st 5:00pmSo to say it was a bad experience is an understatement. First of all, we had a handicap person with us and they didn't even offer to accommodate us. Sat us in a booth. Then, the waiter took forever to bring us our biscuits and when he did he dropped them on the floor and left them there for the entirety of our dinner. He only left us 3. We wanted more he only brought us 3 more. Everyone was walking back and forth stepping on the cheddar bay biscuits. Finally a woman in the next booth asked if it could be cleaned up. She was getting grossed out by it. The waiter came back with a sweeper and a dust pan and then immediately served food. Gross!! He never came back to ask if we wanted more shrimp. The meal was $129.00 used to be one of my favorite places to go but never again.

Mid food for my peers the Mozzarella sticks were soft not crisp at all. Service was coo but our waiter Hayden seemed to be swamped with mad tables which led to incorrect orders getting delivered and or forgotten but that is not on him but the economy. The air in there was stagnant. Ton of menu items were not available which was crazy considering how little traffic occurred within the restaurant. Definitely not worth the money unless you wanna see Hayden he was cool peoples enjoyed his service and his effort.

So dont get me wrong, i love red lobster! Have been coming here since I was a child. But i ordered the lobster topped flounder and was so extremely underwhelmed by the plate. I paid 25 bucks for the saddest seafood plate iv ever seen here. Food was delicious, maybe if changing the size of the plate maybe that would help??

I came here for the first time in 13 years with my mom. The waiter was nice and attentive and was the best part of the experience. My mom and I were seated at a tiny, cramped table with a tablet and something else taking up a third of the space. The food was less than par, even for an old chain restaurant. Stuffed mushrooms, gross and lacking flavor or texture in the stuffing mix. Biscuits were small little lumps of whatever, they have really pulled back on cheese and seasonings in the last 13 years. Crispy green beans were okay, but overly coated with breading. Clam chowder was okay, just a bit fishy/strong tasting and loose broth. Brussels sprouts were drowning in thick, sticky, sweet sauce, but might have been good had we asked for the sauce on the side. The lobster tails were small and succulent with good flavor, no need for butter or lemon and thankfully were pretty delicious. All in all, we spent $107, with tip, for what was a mediocre at best meal. The only reason why I stepped foot in this establishment was unfortunately due to my incredible, lovely grandmother giving us a $50 gift card. I will lie to her and tell her thank you and that I enjoyed the meal, but I will not lie to whomever will read this.

Always a good place to meet up but hard when it's a big group and especially for a special occasion like birthdays. Greeter at the La Mesa was a dud but the servers were very helpful. Food was a average and salty but cheesy biscuits were bomb!
