On 1/12/22 at 8am, I went to the mission valley location on Rio Dr and was turned off completely. When I walked in, the cashier was facing the ****, they were laughing and talking but when she turned and saw me, it was immediate hate. You can see and feel the negative spirit in her immediately. There was no cause for it, I hadnt said a word. She did not greet me, just stared at me. I was disappointed because I frequent this location often since I live in the neighborhood. I am a delivery driver partner for a company that requested for me to pick up an order for a customer that morning. I told her what I was there for and informed her of the customers name since I had to be the one to initiate the conversation because all it looks like she knew how to do was stare. She proceeded to grab the order and then she asked to see the name on my app and I showed it to her. She tied a knot in the bag, sat the bag on the counter and bent down to start another task. I was left confused, didnt know if she was grabbing something else or what. Basically she did that on purpose and completely ignored me in an attempt to let me know how hateful she was. So I grabbed the bag and left the establishment. There was no have a good day or anything like that, Im normally the one to say that first but her negative energy threw me off. Im writing this to say, this particular cashier would probably be best suited in the back of the establishment where no one can see her, I dont think customer service is a thing for her. Very rude and arrogant for no apparent reason. Her behavior was unacceptable. The date and time of the event will make it easy for management to figure out who I encountered. This establishment needs to either retrain their employee or put her in the back, she doesnt need to be on the front lines with an attitude like that. Im disgusted.

Love Sombrero Catering! It is such a great deal to feed a crowd and of course, the best Mexican food so everyone loves it. And we didn't have to cook. We got party platters and they were a hit plus Sombrero delivered them for us. The enchiladas are the best, that sauce! We also got carnitas, beans, rice and all the fixings plus chips and the BEST SALSA ever! YUM! We brought a few party platters to friends over the holidays too. It is always a hit. Thank you Sombrero Mexican Food! We will be back soon.

I love this place! In La Mesa it is a very convenient drive thru and I believe and eat-in area as well. This place serves very authentic, fresh and flavorful Mexican food. I have even had them cater for me and the food was a great hit. I love their tortillas, their quesadillas and burritos are great! Their tacos hit the spot every time and did I mention their breakfast burritos? OMG! You have got to try this place! they also have a location on Fairmont Ave that is 24 hours!!!!! As a recent transplant to the San Diego area three years ago I discovered Sombreros and this has been a regular go to place for me! In La Mesa they are now around the corner from me!! You have got to try this place!

Came here at 10:30 on a Friday night. They were closed. Drive-through was open but I I was walking up and couldn't have any dinner. Maybe mention that on your website?

This brand new location is super clean. Hope they can keep it up... Their burritos are a bit small but the fact that they offer whole wheat tortillas is wonderful! They run a bit over $7 for a carne asada which I thought was pricey, but really, the fact that they try to offer healthy-ish options is a huge plus. The salsas are tasty and a good level of spiciness. Wish they had lime slices though. The people working there have been friendly and my husband reports way they handled drive though orders was good (read order back with modifications and asked how many salsas we wanted). Quality of the food is good (not mind blowing) but consistent so far. Keep up the good work! Will be back for sure.
