This place is the most unmanaged, under cleaned, and worst place for their employees and customers. The managers here don't care about their employees such as CO2 alarms going off and they don't take precaution and go outside and tell the customers to not come in. They say "open the back door". The manager here had a rat problem. There were rats in the roof and eating away at the food in the back. The manager here had no regard but to complain that he had to get a pest control service man out to clean it up and set traps because it "costs to much". The service is great but the managers here kill their employees. I ate here right beforeI learned about a rat problem. Be aware of where you eat. And on their health inspection they got a C...A C!!! If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I really like to go to restaurants with the intention of giving them a fair chance of giving my business. However, when you have employees that work there that do not care about the customers, it's not the type of establishment I want to give my business to. I went into Subway at the Rancho San Diego location just to get a drink. I enjoy the Vitamin water beverage so I simply went into the sandwich shop just to get a fountain drink of my beloved "Vitamin Water." but on July 28, 2023 at approximately 5:15 p.m I had the worst experience ever in my entire life just for wanting to get a simple drink. I have given this business quite a lot of money over the years that it has been there but starting today and moving forward no more! It takes one bad Apple of an employee to ruin any business and not care since they do not own the business. They are there to collect their paycheck and go home with no care to the customer. Thankfully, not all the employees are like that but today, the girl who was super rude wanting to charge me twice for a drink was completely mind blowing and utter craziness. I had already purchased the fountain drink but when I tried to get my drink, clear water was coming out into my drink. Then I tasted it, and sure enough it was water. The flavor was gone. I informed the guy who was helpful that rang me up that I wanted to get the bottled Vitamin Water to allow me my beverage as the fountain Vitamin Water flavor was gone and it turned to water so he said yes of course. So, I got back in line to purchase another drink, a lemonade and add a few cookies to my order, that is when this young girl who walked up to the guy at the register and told him he had to charge me for the drink that I already paid for. I explained it to her that it was an exchange as their fountain drink of the Vitamin Water flavor ran out and it was water and that the guy allowed to me exchange it for the bottle inside the cooler. She refused to listen to me and said she wanted to hear it from the guy at the register but he seemed intimidated by her aggressive personality and remained quiet. I had tried about two times to explain it to her but she kept raising her voice talking over me stating she only wanted to hear from the guy at the register making it seem she didn't believe me over a drink!!! Whoever owns this place, why do you hire workers that blatantly do not care about the customer, are super rude, aggressive, and fail to listen to the customer when there was clearly an issue regarding the Vitamin Water fountain drinks turning to water. This is clearly a business's responsibility to make sure the fountain drinks have flavor and do not turn to water. If I wanted water, I would have paid for it but I wanted a flavored Vitamin Water. That is it. The girl that was hired was a poor representation of Subway and specifically this Rancho San Diego location. It's sad when I can't even buy a drink that I paid good money for on a hot day before my workout since it ran out of flavor and turned to stale water. The employee (girl) wanted to charge me again for a drink I had already paid for. Please Subway be careful who you hire for your business as they will definitely drive customers away from your business instead of increasing your business acting in this inappropriate, rude, aggressive, and unprofessional way. How come the workers at Chick Fil A are grateful, friendly, polite, and professional? It is because management does not just randomly hire anyone. They take the cream of the crop workers. She also didn't want me to alert the owners of what happened today. A total disregard for your sandwich shop business and the customer, ME! Please address this and do better! In the meantime, I will be calling my bank over this small amount to let them know about this horrible experience!

Our visit to the Subway was a pleasant experience! The toppings were fairly fresh, and the staff wore gloves, maintaining hygiene standards. While it would have been ideal for the glass to provide better protection of mouth spray during order discussions, their sanitation practices surpassed those of other restaurants. Overall a very nice experience and the sandwiches are very tasty!

Shout out to the young girl working the morning a few days ago, I walked in as she was taking bread out of the oven and she kindly asked for a few seconds as she was the only person there right now she said. I was in no rush and she moved quickly and didn't put three little pickles on my sandwich when I told her I really love pickles. We had a great conversation about our pets at home and she told me about her three doggies, it was a great experience at your local subway will definitely come back for the service.

Haven’t had Subway in quite some time, so we wanted to have it for dinner. Ordered online and picked up in store. The two sandwiches were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Everything was fresh and made just right. Thank you to the staff for making with care and being polite when I picked them up.Parking: Plenty of parking.

Went in again today for my tuna sandwich. I like how they take coupons when not all the Subways near by will .Employees were nice and friendly..Everything looked fresh and tasted good.Will be backVegetarian options: Lots of fresh veggies like spinach, avocado ,onions , tomatoes , cucumbers , different peppers and cheese choices.

It's a Tuesday, schedule says they close at 9:30pm. It was 9:15pm when I walked up and they are closed. I know they were open 5 minutes ago before I ran into smart and final. Smh!

Girl that works the pm's needs to be fired. Not rude but no enthusiasm and makes me feel unwelcome, despite saying "welcome to Subway" in the most monotone voice. Hey I get it, you make minimum wage, it sucks but it's not my fault and just want my sandwich. I regret giving her a $2 dollar tip and I want it back. Never going back here, Subways are everywhere. BYE!
