Under new ownership. Recipes are completely different. The tempura batter batter was boring, the chicken for teriyaki chicken bowls was mediocre, and I had to request more sauce because it was dry. The veggies in the bowl we undercooked and basically raw. The udon soup lacked flavor. We definitely miss the old recipes from the previous owner. Food portions are good for the price. Thank goodness we decided to share just in case so not to be so wasteful. My kids usually always finish their bowls, but not this time. No fountain sodas, only canned and bottled drinks. The cashier was kind and helpful. The atmosphere.. almost non-existent. Just people eating as we were ending, they turned some jyp station on but very low but barely audible. It was very quiet. Made it feel like it's supposed to be a library. Unfortunately, after several years of coming here... we will not be returning. Good luck with your business, new owners.

For over 40 min for a simple teriyaki . Other customers were also waiting for a long time and they kept messing up the orders. It's sad that this place gone such down in service. Only come here if you have over 1 hour for a yo go order .

This has been our favorite dive for years now! There is new management and cook and the place is as good as ever if not better. The chicken teriyaki was tender just tight. The "jalapeño roll" (Spicy tuna on the inside and salmon, on the outside with some jalapeño on top) was the perfect combination of savory and spice. They have a new wallpaper design so there's a relaxed feel. The new owner, Paul, is really nice. I highly recommend this place for a tasty, relaxing family dinner. and the green tea ice cream is a nice touch.

This place is under new ownership. Excellent service and smile made my day good. The foods that I ordered tasted so good! Especially teriyaki chicken was very tender and marinated well. I strongly recommend teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu as well.
