I ordered a plate of a chile Relleno and a taco. It's the worst chili I've ever seen because I couldn't eat it because the cheese was so hard. I'm not coming back here.

I decided to take a chance on this place, it was nice n clean hole in wall restaurant. We were the only ones there and we waited for three caldos de res. When we finally got our bowls immediately look wrong Vegetables weren’t cooked and the meat was hard like a rock. It was more like a chunk of carne asada. Last was super nice, we did not stay to eat. It just was terrible to serve a caldo like this.

This is the hidden gem of los angeles. I looooooove this spot! The best food is here. My girlfriend and I randomly found this place and it's now our new favorite.

New owner, mom and daughter team. Authentic Mexican food. No-english menu. Good and tasteful meat. But I miss the Cortez Brothers... :(

Maria was so hospital and accommodating. Found myself stranded far from home this morning; Maria and her crew provided me with plenty of coffee and some yummy huevos rancheros. Hope the be back. Thank you!

i have been eating here for 20 years but no more. I was charged $18 for a burrito to go ! not kidding. it was a simple lengua, beans and cheese burrito. I even asked if there was a mistake and they said no. This did not include a drink or chips. The burrito was the size of my hand. I was hungry and paid for it. Dummy me. What is the world coming to ? A single taco is $ 4.75. This is on Old Valley so its not fancy .

The restaurant must have changed ownership, for the large frontal sign was covered with a banner. The waitress brought out a tray of tortilla chips, I tried a few and I can tell the oil that was used was not fresh which gave a hint of stale oily taste. The combinations we ordered were just so-so, This would be our last visit.
