Authentic food from Chiapas Mexico. Distinct flavors that all can appreciate at a great price. Had lunch with my family and we were well served and well taken care of. We tried the especially good Torta. I had the tamal with huevos revueltos and It was all delicious. The agua fresca de Melon was also very good and I recommend it if you like it when agua frescas don't carry too much sugar. The place looks like a hole in the wall and it lived up to all the great reviews.

I am always looking for new places to eat Mexican food. Unfortunately, there are very few places that really stand out. La Cocina de Los Reyes is more than your average experience at a restaurant. The food has depth of flavor, wonderfully cooked, and aesthetically pleasing. It was also pleasant to taste Mexican food with influence from the state of Chiapas. This is Mexican food, cooked with experience and most of all care and passion. The server was friendly, attentive and nice. The chef greeted us at our table when we arrived and said goodbye when we were finished. The experience from start to finish was exceptional, something only experienced in high-dining places in major cities.

The food was delicious. It melted in my mouth. The waitress and owners were amiable and lovely. Like I was with family. My only regret was not finding this restaurant sooner.???

Came back to this place not too long after my last visit. I really wanted to come back for the Cochinita pibil (their Friday special). Oh, and their (chipilin) tamales are becoming one of my favorite bites anywhere. Because it is wrapped in a banana leaf that adds a unique subtle flavor to it. Maybe it's the Viet in me. It reminds me of a Vietnamese dish called banh nam. Consistent service. When I walked in, the gentleman greeted me like I was a friend that he hasn't seen in a while. And as I stated before, this is as mom-and-pop as it gets in terms of vibe/ ambiance. I really love this place.

My husband and I wanted to try something different for breakfast, and we felt like Mexican food. I looked on yelp under "Mexican breakfast" and saw this restaurant. I was surprised that it had 5 stars, so we decided to check it out. Sure glad we did! It's a hidden gem. We've driven past it so many times and never noticed it. Everything we ordered was delicious. The corn tortillas were homemade, huge, and fantastic! The mild salsa was yummy! We will definitely go back to try other items on the menu. The service was excellent! It was an authentic Mexican breakfast, and we really enjoyed it!

Combo 1 & 7... so delicious. The customer service was excellent, and the food was amazing. The restaurant is simple and cozy. There's something for everyone. I also ordered the Cafe de Olla, which was perfect. Please visit this place. You can thank me later.

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and made with so much love and flavors. Not only were we seated and greeted immediately, but it wasn't long after until our food came. Quick and delicious happiness. And the soup, with the cold weather coming in, is absolutely perfect. If I was sick or hungover, I absolutely knew I would need this in my life. The tamal was so good, wrapped in a banana leaf, and perfect for two people to share or one hungry person! The tacos Dorados, he gave us a mixed option, so we got chicken and beef and that red sauce they sit in is to die for by itself.Absolutely love small businesses, and this one grabbed my heart immediately upon arrival.I will absolutely be back for EVERYTHING on their menu and more. Thanks for introducing me to Chiapas and their cuisine!!!
