The Chavela Beer was delicious spicy n refreshing. We heard how good the nachos were so we tried them as well as the chicken chimichungas. Sharable for 3 to 4. The margaritas ? are big n delightful for a sunny day in La Quinta. Most def. Will be back!

Food wasn’t anything special, but good atmosphere, good drinks, and good vibes. On a Saturday it was packed. Every table at margaritas and it was really fun. Service was also really good. I would definitely recommend to go here if you are 21 and want to have a good time

Chile relleno was served COLD and a “to go ice tea” after having ordered the first glass was $4.62!!! Only bad meal I’ve had in the valley since visiting for the last 15 years!

We are on the front patio. The food was decent, but a bit pricey. We're a couple of retired Valley residents, and wanted to try it out. The guacamole was outstanding.

The staff was like a well-oiled machine. While my burrito was fantastic (the salsa was amazing too, I could've easily taken a gallon home), I was honestly more impressed with the servers, hostesses, chefs, and bussers. Despite it being pretty packed, we received a table with no wait, all due to the efficiency of the staff. Customer service was on point. Also a great atmosphere with happy customers, tennis and college basketball on in the background, and a genuine group of employees.

Went on Thursday at close to 10:00 PM. Everywhere else in the area was closing, but they welcomed us in and served us one great drinks. The bartender (wish I remembered his name) was great; friendly, helpful and gave great recommendations for the following day. Will be back if I'm ever in the area.

Super food, we live nearby! Always good BUT if you get the one waitress that usually works the front booths and surrounding table ...LOOK OUT. She is abrupt, she never smiles she looks very un happy to be waiting tables! She makes the experience the absolute worst ever ! Get a grip...we all have problems, life etc. But at least say hello and be pleasant. She give out the worst vib ever !
Great atmosphere. Inside is noisy so I love their back patio which is so festive. Great Chile rellenos and Cadillac margaritas.

This place never fails to deliver great dining. This trip was just an appetizer and cold beer . Mini Chicken Chimis were out of bounds along with their homemade chips and Salsa and Ice Cold Negra Modelo . Excellent fast friendly service !

We always stop here when visiting in the area and it's still 5 stars. Just had time for appetizers today and the Mini Chicken & Cheese Chimis were delicious as were the homemade chips and salsa, ice cold beer and fast friendly service was the best . Another appetizer we have had that is so good are the Chile Gueritos. Yum

Its the AMBIANCE that's the winner... especially in the nighttime. Casa Mendoza in La Quinta is an absolute blast ! the old folks ( I can't speak here because some might think I'm "old"...lol ) there are plenty of margaritas being made and floating around... while you enjoy your chips and salsa (aka: like munching on popcorn and watching a movie...) you witness the scene around you... One impeccably groomed, surgically enhanced La Quinta seasonal resident gets upset with another equally polished lady as they argue over who's is going to be taking their man home tonight... It's quite the spectacle !
