Close to our place in PGA West. What you would expect: solid food, good bar, plenty of sports on the tv's. Service can be suspect at times, but overall good place.

Seems to be hit or miss - may be who the chef is at the time. Great winter salad one day and mediocre the next. Also the Rueben looks amazing in a picture on yelp - the one we had was chips of meat and gristle! Music is super loud with hard rock at times. We generally like the vibe there mostly though. Inconsistent!

First, this is a beautiful venue! Both the inside and outside are lovely. Second, our waitress Carolina was attentive and didn't miss a beat to make our experience a special one. She was right on top of our every request and need. Third, the food was excellent. I made special requests for my chicken dish and they were all accommodated. The chicken was juicy, flavorful and tender. In other words totally delicious. The others in our party each thoroughly enjoyed their dinners, 2 salmon dishes and shrimp fettuccini alfredo. The dessert was a cookie in skillet with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce, a terrific decadent way to end a fabulous meal. Kudos to the head chef and kitchen team! I would highly recommend the restaurant as a destination location and I wish to thank them for helping to make a terrific night with friends a most enjoyable food adventure!

The only savior for this place is the captive audience from visiting golfers and guests. The service and attitudes of most that work here is shameful, including the managers lack of care. When the managers don't care I guess the employees shouldn't either as it starts from the top down and it's obvious management does not care as they don't reply to any of the previous reviews. Only a couple of the folks that work here are good, Deliah and Dave the bartender are freindly and engaging. The overpriced food and lack of quality is a joke. How about a horrible $26 dollar Italian Sandwich. As a member of PGA West I brought two friends here for breakfast and they were treated like dirt. Besides the two previous employees I spoke of the only good thing is the setting and views and TV's for sports. This could be such a fun and enjoyable place if only the atmosphere would change and they improved the quality of the food and got their prices in line. I'll stick to the Private clubhouse, Kennedy's as Ernie's is an embarrasment and talk around town is everything I just stated!

We had early reservations at Ernie’s. Upon arrival realized the music was so loud it was going to be difficult to visit. We asked the host to turn it down a little. She asked the bartender, nothing. A group near usat the host stand said “we can’t em enjoy our evening with this music!” They left. Once we were seated, we asked our waitress to please turn it down, we were literally yelling at each other across the table. She said she would ask the bartender. Nothing changed. We were told we would have to speak to a manager. Sabrina came out, pure attitude, she wasn’t hearing our customer complaint and said “we’ve had compliments” on the music “what do you want me to do?” Ummm, maybe look around at the average age, which was around 65 years old, and cater to your audience. Secondly, don’t flip attitude to paying customers, Third, TURN THE MUSIC DOWN. Lastly, send Sabrina to customer service training. You get a star for good food and a nice wait staff. With other great choices in the Valley, I would skip Ernie’s.

Packed house because the food is great, service is fantastic but the thumping, horrible music made our evening awful. We asked the server to turn it down but the bartender refused. The entire restaurant was literally yelling across their tables. Truly a horrible experience. There are so many great restaurants around LaQuinta, spend your money somewhere else and enjoy it. We were not the only ones complaining.UPDATE: The manager came over and we asked her to turn down the dance club music. Her reply was basically the bartender chooses a station, whatever plays they can't control and we were the only ones who complained. Wrong answer! The people behind us turned around and left because of the noise. Our waiter said many customers found the music distasteful and too loud. We won't be back.

Our food was just ok. Burger was good. Fish and chips were soggy and soft. We returned them, had them replaced and those were equally as bad. They at least took them off the bill. Service was spotty. Rarely saw our server after placing our order. Prices have gone way up.

Sitting at a table on the patio is a great way to start the day during the desert winter. Service is good but the breakfast fare is bland. Whether it's the sandwich, quesadilla or omelette, none of them have any pizzazz. And the paste they call salsa is just gross. Best bet here is to drink your breakfast.

Excellent Sunday brunch (I had the eggs and bacon, sister had the omelet). The service was friendly, atmosphere was fun.The view of the green, lake, PGA course was serene. Lots of historic photos in the entry way.
