Not keen about hearing bar music in Dining room. Server should let us know we're being charged $10 when we decide to share a dish. We didn't realize that until we got the bill.

Our second time dining at Lavender Bistro. Both times, the food and service were excellent. We love the outdoor patio area with lighted trees and great music. One of our favorites in the desert.

I have had Lavender Bistro on my list of restaurants to try since I moved to the valley in 2021. When asked where I'd like to go for my birthday, I immediately said LB. I was amazed when I walked out to the patio. Such a beautiful setting. The music was perfect, not overpowering like some. The service was exceptional and the food was remarkable. I commented that I would definitely be bringing guests when they visit.

Lovely patio for dining . It was very crowded but to be expected for a Thursday evening as high season winds down. Our server started out strong but then he faded fast. Was a long time before he took our order and then it was quite a while before he checked back in with us (someone else had brought out our dinner). We asked for a table in the back because the music can get quite loud and our party of 4 was engaged in conversation.

This restaurant is by far the favorite in La Quinta having also eaten at Arnold Palmer's and Adobe Grill. The patio, ambience, service and food is incomparable. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

The atmosphere and live music add to the whole experience. Our waiter was knowledgeable and answered our questions. The food was cooked perfectly, presented beautifully, and.delicious. We did not feel rushed. It was a pricey evening but worth it!

Our food was generally tasty - however, two of our appetizers were served on brown lettuce. They arrive at different times, so serving brown lettuce was intentional. The bus boy arrived with butter on his fingers.

This is a wonderful restaurant in a great setting. Beautiful ambiance. The staff was wonderful. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend the shrimp curry. Plenty of warm rolls with a nice variety that were very fresh. Great wine and cocktail choices. Overall a wonderful go to restaurant in the valley

One of the most appealing places to dine in the valley,Lavender Bistro excells in most categories. Five stars for food presentation,taste and quality. Excellent and unique dessert choices. With all the good ,there was one very annoying thing after reviewing the check for close to $300 , I ordered a scotch on the rocks and was charged a surcharge of 50 cents for the ice cube. No conversation,no scene when I saw this, just no returning and no recommendation to anyone else,. I am sure my anger will melt just like the ice cube did.

The roasted chicken was so dry and overcooked! I complained to the women who cleared table, twice, and she laughed it off. The waiter never cracked a smile and was put off when we asked a question about a cocktail. I should have sent my chicken back but the waiter not once came back to check on our dinner. Only came back to give us dessert menus.

We had made reservations and when we checked in the young lady led us to the table. We took a long way around past other two tops and we were seated at a table that had quite a bit of detritus on the table. No one came to check on us for 15 minutes. No water no order for drinks etc. Finally we were helped and the food was delicious.The music was good but the treatment of us was appalling. What a disappointment

We have enjoyed Lavender Bistro in the past and were happy to be going again. We arrived and met the hostess, said our name as we had reservations. She lethargically left her place to direct us to the charming patio. She directed us to a two top which had detritus of leaves with wine glasses laying down and left before we could say hey there are cleaner tables could we sit there. It took 15 minutes before anyone came to us. No water nothing. As we were getting ready to leave a waiter came over Food was fine. Music was great. But when we said we were done, they dropped all pretense of graciousness again. Very disappointed. Customers are the purpose of their jobs. Not an interruption.
